Happy New Year 2010!

It has been a beautiful, crisp day here in East Texas (photo is in West Texas)! Our gym was open today and we enjoyed starting the new year with a good work out! Then on to breakfast at The Egg and I. Enjoyed a visit with folks we love. Ate pork roast, collard greens, black-eyed peas and cornbread! THEN, we enjoyed a Skype call with Little Man and his Mom and Dad! It has been a very good start to a new year.

Things that made me smile today:

  • Drinking coffee in bed with my hubby.

  • Seeing freshly painted toenails (my own)!

  • The sunflowers on Amanda's post (and, her post... of course).

  • Getting a hug from Zack.

  • Skype with Little Man and his folks.

I am most grateful!!

I like the 5 things that make you smile each day. I like that you post them it reitterates them and their importance. Might have to borrow that THRIVE tactic. Do you mind?

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm over here "post hopping" at your place, reading bits and pieces. I'm bookmarking you and will be back to visit more later. I'm meeting all sorts of new bloggers via the Texas BLogging Gals!
Your home is beautiful; I used to have a little cottage here in our historical district that I now miss greatly. They are well worth the blood, sweat and tears you put into them.
