Echo Beach and Dragon's Breath...

After finishing Love Train on the way to the beach, I started this Echo Beach by Kieran Foley at the beach.  I'm using Noro Sekku in colorway 3.

Ended up ripping it all out on the plane coming home and starting over... now, I'm looking forward to finding some time to get back to it!!  Not yet... but, soon.

A few beach echoes of my own... the Little Men working away... oh, I'm missin' these little guys.

And, can't you just feel the breath of that Dragon?!

"Make voyages!  Attempt them!  There's nothing else."

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.  Make your voyages...

I do believe that I can hear the roar of that dragon! Such industrious little "beach bums"! I've played on that same beach--perhaps in the same spot.

Have a great weekend.

Best,
Bonnie
P.S. We, three, don't really watch Honey Boo Boo. We just wanted to sound more erudite than we are!!

Ooooh, scary dragon! I'll bet Nana was suitably impressed with the roar!

That dragon breathing face! I seriously do not like starting over on a project....usually find a way to love it the way it is turning out! :-) You are a better woman than me. Love, d.

Awww so adorable! :)

Yuck on having to rip it all out and re-start, but I know you will enjoy it when you get the chance to knit again.

Blessings to you always sweet friend.

Those boys are so cute, and Dragon breath must be something horrible based on that little ones face. Beautiful knitting, hope you can manage some time to do more today.

Meredith

I had to laugh when you said you ripped out your knitting on the plane back. I find every time I bring a project on a trip I end up doing that. I still love the doing though so I won't give up dragging projects along. Hope you get the courage to attack it again soon.

Your little men are so cute. I remember wonderful beach vacations when mine were "littles". :o)
I love the colors on this piece. I'm sure it will turn out as beautiful as everything else you do.

Very cool dragon! And what fun photos of your little guys. Grand kids sure are fun, aren't they? What made you rip the shawl? It appeared to be going well!

Looking forward to seeing the finished "do-over." Love Roo's face in that last pic! I don't think I have that one in my batch! The boys were playing with their dragons today and loving it. ;-) Love you and miss you. xoxo

Wouldn't you just know it. I take a short break from even blog reading and you show up with some of my favorite posts you have even written? I have just scrolled and read through all the wonderful birthday posts and just LOVE the whole thing. I pinned a picture of the table, even though I didn't even have a category to put it in. I put it under "just fun" because that's the way the details made me feel. Love it all!

As for this post, I know you miss those precious boys even more than the beach. I want some grandchildren just like yours.

Give a boy a bucket and boat loads of sand and he'll be a happy camper for hours. Zack is almost 15 and it is still his favorite thing to do on the beach. Whenever I hear "dragon" I think of Puff the Magic Dragon -- my brother's favorite song when he was little. Best wishes, Tammy
