In Like a Lion...

Spring roared in like a lion.  Friday was sunny and 76.  Yesterday, there was a chilling, gray rain with the temperatures plummeting.

This morning we woke up to a light flurry of snow that is supposed to continue throughout the day.

The Azalea Trail officially opened Friday... The blooms were not open yet.  Tour buses of folks were disappointed by no flowers.  The Azalea Trail Craft Fair hunkered down in a cold rain yesterday; and, now have this to look forward to today.  Our little guys are hiding under this blanket hoping to hang on until Monday when we are supposed to be back to 63!  I'm sure hoping for better weather for our Historic Tyler on Tour next weekend!  Let's hope Spring goes out like a lamb.

Hang in there!
Your care of those blossoms will be well worth it.

Sorry that you have cold snowy weather. Raining and chilly here today, but yesterday was gorgeous and 73. I hate the roller coaster weather at this time of year. Hope you have a good day regardless of the weather.

Oh my gosh - this is the oddest spring ever. Are they sure there is global warming? I don't think so!

It's been crazy hasn't it? It is amazing how quickly the weather can change. I hope the weather is beautiful in Tyler next weekend. Looks like it should be.

Sooo sorry about the sudden turn! I know precisely what you're talking about..too afraid to even think about potting up my babies for Spring..because in Middle GA, we always get one final freeze right before Spring settles in for good.

Blessings, Joy and Monday Sunshine, Terri

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Trails, too! I love to come & look. Next week'll be better, and maybe even the week after! You have a great week & go uncover your "babies" & let 'em bloom!
