Random Tidbits... and More Rain

Big Boys having fun... My son, Zachary, in a recent fishing tournament.  This child of mine has LOVED to fish since he was as young as Alex and Roo.

Big (shhhh... Little) Boys having fun... Roo and Alex working a Kiwi Crate Project Kit.  They love working these (available in Target).

MORE RAIN.... So weary of it.  I know.  I know.  All you folks in the PNW think I'm telling Noah about the flood, but we are just not used to it!!  ha!  I am not a wimp in the sweltering summer heat... but, this.... well, okay, I'm wimping!!

One more of the little Puppy Hats for Miss B (who drew a FISH the other day!  Daddy's girl.).

We had two glorious days of sunshine!  Feeling that warmth on my face was good medicine!!

"A human being has a natural desire to have more of a good thing than he needs."
~ Mark Twain

Hoping you are having some good medicine in your life... whatever that may be for you.

No rain yet....But soon I will be hearing it..and the snow will disappear and greenery will be our view~
That hat is so cute!
I would love to be able to do what you do.

Sadly..Target came to Canada..Québec..but didn't last..they have declared bankrupcy here:(And are liquidating..
The stores..from the onset though ..were half filled..the staff so wonderful..but empty shelving everywhere..

I loved it..could get my Mrs Meyers..etc..

Will have to keep a wish list for the USA:)
When part of our family visits us in Florida..they FISH..:)
I love watching them..My dad was a fisherman also..
Have a great end of week and weekend..

give me rain, give me snow, give me long dreary days......but come the heat of the summer---that's when I turn in to a weather-wimp. It takes us all, I guess. :)
Love the hat!!!!

What cute boys--the little ones and the big boy--one of our sons is a Zachary too!

I loved our 2 days of sun this week but I do think of myself as a rainy day lover who really should be living in the PNW. When we lived in Orlando FL for 3 years I would get up and think, Oh no, another sunny day!

Fun photos, Tanna! That's a very cute hat. As for rain in the PNW, most usually it's not the gully washer kind but just lots of gray drizzle. This past weekend though we did get a couple inches which is a lot, but it won't make up for the lack of snow in the mts. Your rain looks serious!!

some good sized fish!! yes, the forecast for the next 9 days says rain, for sure.

I won't bug you about our (PNW) rain.
I won't even bug you about your rain.
Yup... rain, rain go away!

Just think drought prevention! ha.

Zachary is quite the fisherman...look at the size of those fish!

Zach was going to be the boy name for my first born, but turns out that my first born was a girl...Emily. Your little guys are adorable. I don't mind the rain too much, but I do swelter in our heat and humidity during summer. Going through menopause doesn't' help either. LOL! Take care, talk soon!

Tanna, awesome pictures!
Are those large mouth bass, that your son caught? Nice catch!!
Cute picture of the Grands also!

Hope you get lots of sunshine soon.
Love the quote, and the truth of it too *smile**.

Today is the last day of winter! Celebrate!! All of your boys are so cute--including the one holding the fishes. I saw Alex and Roo with their cooking "kit" a few weeks ago--adorable in the kitchen!!

I like a nice rain . . . not after I have washed windows though . . . and not when traveling where there are simI trucks driving on the center lane, sitting in the left lane, not being courtesy like "used to be!" Talk about a WHINE . . . The darling hat brings me a smile, YAY!

Tanna, I am so with you on the rain...just over it! It has went on for 3 weeks...enough already! My husband is a big fisherman too, so could relate to your sons love of fishing. Keep dry my friend.

Here in the PNW, laughably, we have had almost no rain this winter. It has been GLORIOUS. However, I just read the first request from our water companies that we need to be conservative with water use because the mountains have no snow, so reservoirs, lakes and rivers, etc. will be our only source of water. It's a crazy weather year all around the country.

Can't decide what I admire more - your handsome son catching the fish or touching them with his bare hands :-)

I can't believe you still have rain. You are getting quite the replenishment after your drought. Such cute boys, and the big boy too with his catch. Hope it dries out there soon. Spring very soon!

Those are some wonderful fish - I hope he won the tournament. The hat is gorgeous and yes I am so tired of the rain and gray days. We are expecting flurries tonight - sheesh!

great looking fish....Hope the results of the tournament were in his favor. Please do not tell me it is suppose to rain again tomorrow....The weather report says yes. Sunshine, please come our way.

Oh I loved the picture of your son and his catch. Jill's husband is a fisherman since childhood too. In fact he has worked in OR on a Crab Ship and fishes every day after work.

Can't wait for our trip soon, as I KNOW we will be feasting on fresh catch...mostly Salmon and Albacore Tuna.

Love the boys and love the hat.

BTW ...Love you too.

I used to love fishing. When my dad would take the boys fishing during the summer visits when they were little, I had a hard time letting them hold the rod. Ha! I could stay out there for hours. It was like gambling, an addiction. We've actually had some rain here, it's been cloudy all day, but I'm not sure if there's going to be rain or if it is getting dusty. This country definitely doesn't do well with lots of rain, so even though I hate dust, I prefer that to flooding and leaks. Have a super Sunday. Tammy

Wow! Those are some nice fish your son caught. My family likes to fish, too, and I like to eat 'em! :) Cute photo of the boys and the hat will look so sweet on Miss B!

Absolutely - one amazing fisherman. I love that about him. Love watching his passion continue to grow. =) And that sweet B is getting in on it, too. Precious. xoxo

Yeah fishermen and women...I hear you on the rain...I know we need it but geeze I told Hubby if I see animals walking 2 x 2 I'm following them!

Dear Tanna, Fishing is such a great time ~ even when you don't catch any fish. I was my dad's fishing buddy. I have such good memories of fishing with him.
So glad you enjoyed the days.
xoxo Catherine
