Sneak Peak and Easy as Pie

In trying to help the Big Bah-Nilla become a little less plain, we changed the front door and entry area.  This is just a little sneak peak.  I love the front after the changes... still need to "decorate", but I'm never very quick at that... I tend to be better at dealing with the bones... not the make-up.  ;)

And, the Easy as Pie is the scarf/wrap I made just before Christmas.  I needed more of my simple-repetitive-task therapy and decided use a H hook, start with 62 fdc (foundation double crochet) and keep going as far as my two skeins of Noro Silk Garden Sock would allow.  I am pleased with the outcome of the simple project...

I love the colors... and the generous size...

And, I already know I will love it for summer, too!  Can you tell I'm still Summer Dreaming???  ;)

"As simple as it sounds, we all must try to be the best person we can:  by making the best choices, by making the most of the talents we've been given."

tanna, you are so darn beautiful, you could stand in front of wooden pallets for front doors with a potato sack wrapped around your neck and we'd swoon. seriously. :)

I love your pictures! Your door is beautiful as is the scarf. Is it something that can be made by knitting??

Have you seen the Queen Anne scarf? It's the my favorite crochet pattern, so far at least and perfect for Noro yarn. Love your doors! And the model in front of them.

The doors are certainly beautiful, but the scarf-wrap is a winner. I am always looking for repetitive projects right now - loving a sampler in all one colour cross stitch. It has been a long time since I last crocheted. I wonder if I could do this project?

The door and the scarf are both beautiful. We changed our frint dooe two years ago, what a great upgrade, and then this year we knocked out a closet and opened the foyer more; what a difference. i know how happy the entry will make you. It is the first impression people have of your home. You have great style!

Are you kidding me? That's a simple double crochet? Why it is that when I do something like that, I think it is blah. Your scarf looks knitted and it is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful entryway, too. And beautiful you! :) Best wishes, Tammy
