Light Waves: Spring Tease

We've had the tease of spring lately...  And, it has had me craving color... Spring color.

This quick, fun little pattern fit the bill AND gave me an opportunity to practice the German Short Row technique I learned while doing the Dreambird!  Love 'em!!

This shawl is a nice small size, though plenty long.  Perfect for early spring mornings and at the dimming of the day...  when the nip is in the air.

It's made of Noro Silk Garden Lite and Brown Sheep's Nature Spun, that I had in my stash. The pattern is Light Waves by Susan Ashcroft.  Details here.   She also designed my favorite little owl shawl:  Hogwart's Express.

It's good to have my computer back (from the Geek Squad) and a new modem!  ;)

Wishing a beautiful spring weekend to all... blessings ~ tanna

Those colors are fabulous - and so fun with the pattern of the shawl! I do hope this is going to be a part of your Easter ensemble! These could be my favorite "project shots" you've ever taken. Are these some of your homework assignments for your knitting photography class? They are AWESOME!! xoxo

Beautiful!! I'd be very jealous of your visit to the home of the Little Men except for the fact that "the sisters" are coming here soon. Can't wait! Have a great time--not that I need to suggest that.

Best,
Bonnie

You're taking a knitting photography class? How fun will that be? You will surely have the best 'subjects' to work with! I love this series with the red bud tree. I didn't know redbud grew down your way and in my neighborhood...about 6 weeks later! We're getting another 4 - 8 inches by Monday! Of snow...not red bud! :-) Thanks again for Hooty!
Love!

Once again you have created a "thing of beauty". I love the colours that you've used, too. And your cherry blossoms!!!!! Enjoy them for me, we still have three feet of snow on the ground, but...the sun was out today and the snow was melting! That's pretty exciting for us.
Have a wonderful weekend. Cindy

There you go again! You did it again! Showed us another gorgeous creation! It amazes me how yarn and two needles collide to make somethings so beautiful!
Yes, it was COLD here this weekend. By the time I got to church yesterday, my hair was a wreck. But then, everyone's hair was a wreck. :) Stay warm, friend.
