Badlands and Prayers

I'm sending out a special prayer this morning for AndeM1 who wrote:

Im having an excision next tuesday. thank you for sharing your story....you have given me strength. Know that I am praying for you.

I couldn't find another way to let you know... but, my prayers are with you, AndeM1.

On a lighter note, finished this "Badlands" by Sara Gresbach for Addiesma Designs and wore it to one of my doctor's visits... handknits always make me feel wrapped in a special warmth.  ;)  Somehow, the name of the pattern seems appropriate for now.

This drape front shrug has some versatility in wearing options, but this is my favorite.  It was a nice soothing knit.

Done in Madelinetosh DK, color: Cove, it is soft and snugly.

Wishing you all a wonderful day and for AndeM1 a special hope and prayer for a smooth, effective and quickly healing surgery today.

I love the thought of you going to medical appointments wrapped in your own hand knits - strength and comfort from your own hands.

Very pretty! I'm sure you not only blessed yourself with the coziness and warmth of a handknit, but also those who are providing care.

That little shrug/shawl thing is amazing. Who knew it would look so sweet and drapey like that when you see it flat....
I'm still moving along on my sweater and may be addicted wen I finally get to wear the creation I made.
Oh, and I love your haircut. Might have to take my computer to show my haircutter....
Peace in your heart, Tanna...my prayer for you.

Great vest, Tanna. I've never knit anything side to side. Love the cables, especially along the neckline. Were the armholes difficult? Thinking of you and Andi and sending hugs as well.

I'll just bet you feel all snugly in this beauty.....

Best wishes to AndeM1.

Oh Tanna,
Words don't ever come easy to me. I never know what to say and how to say it especially when it comes to offering comfort, support and encouragement. All I can really offer you my sweet friend is prayer, my heart and my friendship. Please know that He is with you and He will help you through it all. I pray He gives you strength, patience and understanding and that all will be well with you soon. Sending you all my love, support and prayers.

Blessings,
♥Ana

Yes, absolutely...prayers to AndeM1...a wave of love and healing from all your readers is heading her way.

I love this Shrug and it looks simple enough that I think even I might be able to attempt it so I've bookmarked the pattern.

And I'm wondering if you noticed that you have an angel watching over you...in the first photograph a garden angel is in the background. I'm a big believer in 'signs" and I don't think it's just a coincidence that she's in this photograph...they use everything they can to get a message across. Your angels are sending you a message that you're not going through this alone...you have help on many levels. ((hugs))

It is just beautiful and I love the colors!!! I really think one good thing that is coming from your situation is that others will read your story and not give up when they feel something is wrong....because some people believe in and trust doctors like they are gods, but they make mistakes just like anyone else.

Just love things that say "snuggle" and that vest is just adorable on you.

Nice hair style too.

Love how God puts people together for strength and encouragement. You are both.

Prayers for AndeM1--sending love and support her way as well as yours.

Honestly, Tanna, how did you know that the vest was going to look so darn cute? I don't think I ever would have considered knitting it from that flat piece of knitting with two holes! It's perfect. I don't usually do vests......but....I know have madeline tosh dk on my Stitches Market list...such an enabler you are!!!!

Hugs!

Your newly finished shrug is lovely and looks very nice on you.
You no doubt do feel like you're traversing the "Badlands" right now, but how wonderful to know that you're not traveling alone. Your God knows where you are and we, your friends, are praying for you while you are there, that you will come out safe and sound on the other side.
And now for AndeMl, too.
Love, prayers and hugs, Cindy

I know your story will help many others, Tanna! It is so good you ahred your mole photo, diagnosis and treatment plan. I'm sure you've encouraged many to have their own suspicious looking skin growths checked, or re-checked by a dermatologist.

I'm parying every day for you and
I will now add AndiM1 to my prayers.

Your new handknit sweater looks so pretty on you! It looks like a perfect accessory for this time of the year.
