S.I.M.P.L.E.

I am looking forward to a simple day.

A day without extraneous or unpleasant activity.

A simple meal with Gracie, Maverick, Audra and Brian.

Simple spaghetti with meat sauce.

Simple fresh salad.

Simple hearty bread.

And, a simple dessert.

I am looking forward to enjoying the sunshine and time knitting with my friends.

I'm linking this with Sandi's Friday Favorites at the Whistle Stop Cafe ... this IS one of my favorite bread recipes.  Can you tell by the messes on the page?

Simple, relaxed time with family is one of my favorites, too.

Only wish the rest of the clan could come over for dinner with us.

Hope each of you enjoy a simple, rich day.

Enjoying a week at home due to illness, but not sick enough to not take note of the beauty of some quiet at home during the daytime sunshine. Your simple day looks wonderful --- and don't you love the time worn recipes? They speak history !

Tanna, your house is so pretty. I'd love to see it all. It's been quite a while since I made bread.

LOVE the dish. Is that a full service? Really nice! Also love the dining area.

My favorite recipes are smudged and dirty and I'm now ready to buy my THIRD Fannie Farmer Cookbook. The spine has broken on the first two. This will make 3 in 30 yrs. I guess that's not bad.

For some reason, I can't use your e-mail to e-mail. It tells me my "password" is not right--or something like that. So, to answer your marsala question. I've used both. The dry is hard to find without going to a large package store. The sweet is available in even an average grocery store. Right now, I only have sweet.

Best,
Bonnie

Oh my goodness Sweet Tanna. Your wish for a "s.i.m.p.l.e. day" is a poignant reminder of how I dream my whole life to be. Following the holidays and all the rush and madness involved. SIMPLE sounds so refreshing! Thanks so much for your lovely comment earlier at my place. Your friendship has become dear to me and has dramatically changed my perspective on blogging. Here's hoping you get to experience the simplicity of a peaceful and satifying day. Love & Friendship, Terri
