At the speed of light... Carpe Diem!

Seems the time is passing at the speed of light... Summer is always like that for me.  Winter, well it can seem to drag on and on...   ;)

There were zoo visits...

Sweet smiles...

Golf with my Little Men and their Daddy...

More zoo visits...

Road trips with my Beloved...

Plane trips with strangers... Ha!!  Just the pilot.  Though we were acquainted after my first "co-piloting" experience!

A girls' trip to Colorado...

Man, was that cool weather NICE!!!  We played golf, hiked, and...

River rafted!  That last green cap on the left is yours truly paddling madly.  Our guide had a boat load of grannies.  LOL!  Feisty grannies.  ;)

Enjoyed my Beloved's first round of golf since his back surgery in May!!  Celebration!

And just finished this!  A little sweater top straight off the needles... not even cut loose from the skein yet!  LOL!  Love this pattern.  More details to come.

I hope each of you are in full carpe diem mode, too!!  Life's shorter than we imagine.

I'd deeply appreciate your continued prayers for our friends, Johnny and Milha.

Until things slow down, may the Lord bless and keep you ~ tanna

That sweater top is darling!! You look great. And wow! You've been cramming summertime full of goodness and fun! Great idea. At least up here, winter is too long, so we really take advantage of the summer. Glad to see your hubby recovered from surgery. Have a lovely remainder to your week, Tanna.

I feel the same way, Tanna, that summer time passes by too quickly! We have been packing in as much as possible the past few weeks. Back to school in 2 weeks!

Your river rafting adventure looked like fun! I'm too chicken to try that...lol!

What a fun summer you've had. I give your huge kudos for the rafting (I'd be scared spitless).

Hi! I have done a lot of white water rafting, but never without a helmet! You are brave. But, then the co-piloting proves that! Mostly you are just adorable. Love your feisty spirit and carpe diem attitude. d.

You are so right, summer flies by way to fast! Ours has been busy and fun except for the past 10 days or so when we've been plagued by smoky air pollution from the wildfires in B.C. Thankfully, it finally rained Saturday night, the first since June 17, and our clean, cool air is back. Love that pattern, but it looks difficult!
