R & R

My Beloved and I are off today for a couple of days of grown-up rest and relaxation... A mini-vacation in the midst of a busy summer...

With all of our recent company, my knitting and crochet production has been almost nil!  However, I did manage to continue adding to the stack of wash/dish cloths.  Such fun little quickies!  And, a shawl I'll share later.

I am not usually much on photo editing... but, I enjoyed playing with PicMonkey a little.  The trouble for me is that if a little is good... more is better.  Not.  Ha!  I tend to get carried away with any new toy.  Have you tried PicMonkey?  What do you think?

I'm packing one crochet project and one knitting project... =)  Much easier choices than my clothes!

I always make sure I have my crocheting or knitting along on such a trip. You've done well to add so much to your dishcloth pile. I hope you have a great get away and get some rest!

Have a fabulous time! (Washcloths paired with homemade soaps make a nice hostess gift, but you probably know that.) Pretty flowers!!

Enjoy your grown-up getaway!
Funny, I find selecting vacation knitting is tougher for me than clothes. :)

Enjoy your mini vacation. I love to knit wash/dish cloths, too. Mostly in the winter, though. I like to use PicMonkey. I mostly use it to crop photos and add a watermark.

~sigh~ That sounds so wonderful and relaxing.
See you when you get back and show us your treasures.

Hope you enjoy some great R & R. We all need it from time to time. I use picmonkey a lot. I will admit... Editing photos is not my favorite thing to do. So time consuming for me. Enjoy your time away!!

I hope you're having a delightful time away! The pictures on your previous post of your "herd" make me so happy. They are charming and I can only imagine what fun it must have been for them and for you. Those times are the very fibre of life, aren't they?

I love using PicMonkey! But how I wish I had time to go back and redo so many posts when I first started using it, when like you I believed that more was better! But you never learn except by practice. It takes a lot of practice for me, I'm a slow learner.
