A Touch of Happy...

My knitting friends and I refer to these colors as "happy colors" along with some corals and pinks... and whatever else might bring a smile to our faces.

Pattern:  CashSilk Fern Scarf by Felicia Lo
Yarn:  CashSilk Lace by Sweet Georgia (55% silk, 45% cashmere)

Light as air and oh, so soft.  Details on my Ravelry page here.

I'm a little sad because I had some great Happy Shots of my grands... Little Lady at the strawberry patch... with her Momma enjoying berries straight out of the bucket.  And, Little Men on a Summer Adventure to Sesame Place.  They were such happy little faces, they were guaranteed to deliver a touch of that happiness.

I love getting photos in texts and I am usually able to get them to load on my blog... No such luck today and my frustration level has moved me right out of the Happy Place I was wanting to share when I began this little endeavor; so, I'm movin' on.  LOL!

As a follow up on Golf Camp, I played in a tournament this week and shot the best round I've had in years... maybe all the blisters and aches and pains were not in vain.  ;)

I always keep myself in the position of being a student.

That is a gorgeous knit finish. WOW. I adore the colors.

Great for you on your best round of golf. See all that pain, might have been worth it!

Those are such "happy colors". And a lovely pattern too.

I get frustrated because I can't post pictures of most of my grandchildren because of the privacy my adult children want. I would be even more frustrated if I could post them and the computer gave me problems.

I smile when I think of you out on the golf course playing so well, and probably the most beautiful woman out there.

Cashmere and silk is a lush combination and so beautiful. Love those colors.

So glad you had a great round of golf. I am still smiling remembering your written account of your golf school.

Sorry you couldn't get your text pics to download. Your grands are so precious.

I do love those happy colors too. Sorry about your pics. I had some trouble with mine today too. It was very slow but I think it was my computer.

Grrrr. Technology is all wonderful right up to the time it won't do what you want it to do. Walking away is the best thing for me to do, too!
Even without the photos of the happy littles, I am happy to hear from you and see your latest loveliness!
And a good golf tournament! Yay Yay Yay!
Love, d.

It certainly is frustrating when you have something so important (such as photos of grandchildren) and can't get the computer to work like it's suppose to. Been there!!
I have a lot of girl friends that play golf out at Emerald Bay. Keeps you young. Tell me...how do you keep your front porch so pretty and shiny? Great photo in the upper right corner of your blog...
Have a wonderful Friday...

Congrats on the improved game! I must confess that my disappointment is great. I enjoy seeing your beautiful grands. I do love your attitude though. Definitely the happy scarf was worth a post even if we don't get the babes. :)

Blessings, Debbie

You go girl with your golf...oh my, a marathon runner and golfer, get out of the way!
I would have enjoyed the pictures, but just hearing your words makes me rejoice with you.

How beautiful..always a piece of art.
Enjoy your weekend..I think I am going to head to First Monday, I need to keep up with the latest trends. I also need an East Texas fix!

How frustrating about the photos ... I feel your pain. The scarf is lovely--in those colors I love. It looks so soft and I'm sure it is. As for the golf -- you go girl! It paid off apparently!

Ah, so there was indeed a benefit to the golf camp! I'm glad.

I am nuts about those colors, and I would put the festive corals right along with them. Those hues are all so summery.

I wish you could have gotten the pictures to upload. I love to stalk your grandchildren.

Does that make me creepy? Hope not.
