Whirlwinds...

Things have been running at whirlwind speed around The Bungalow.  There was the ready-ing of this garage apartment (one of The Old Girls).  I still have locks to change tomorrow... but, it will be getting a new tenant next week.  The wonderful thing about The Old Girls is that they always find new people quickly.  I am thankful for that.

Then, there was candy to be made this morning.  We are hosting a fundraiser party, with three other couples, for 50 people this weekend.  More work to be done on that project!

And, this shawlette came off the needles last night; it is blocking now.  More to be revealed...

Best of all was time with Miss Blayklee this past weekend!!  What a little doll (okay, I know a grandmother's oooohing and ahhhing must get old; but, I never tire of them)!

She was ready for a nap; and, I was lucky enough to get her to sleep in the "Noni bed (my arms)" and hold her the WHOLE nap time.  Pleasure.  Pure pleasure.  Plus, I will get the joy of keeping her a few days next week!  Yea!

AND, the Little Men are in flight to Texas even as I type.  We won't see them until Sunday, but I am soaring on Cloud Nine... looking forward to swooping them up in my arms!!  Lots left to do before then though!

Wishing you all a wonderful week!  blessings ~ tanna

Oh, she is just a little beauty and I know you are so thrilled to be with her and your other grands on the way to Texas! I remember holding my boys in my arms through their entire naps. People told me I was doing the wrong thing but I was in heaven. I waited a long time for my two babies and I wanted to cherish every moment, waking and sleeping--and I did!

Every time I see you with your sweet Grand Children I always see pure bliss on your smiling face and on their's, too. It makes my heart smile to see so much love. :)

Oh, the Shawlette is beautiful. I must resist...no, no I will not let my knitting needles see it. I will look away now so as not to be tempted by such a lovely project. Hmmm I love knitted lace and that boarder is so pretty....what was I saying again?

Sending hugs your way, and blessings, too dear friend. :)

Sounds like you've been busy, and will be busy for a while! Those candies made my mouth water. Are they chocolate-covered cherries or some kind of truffle? YUM.

What a pretty little granddaughter. I bet you made that dress too. So sweet!

AND, nice shawl!

Your Candy look so delicious. Is there a hazelnut on the top of them ?
I can imagine how much you are busy with this project.
And nevertheless you have time for to share it with us, let alone for knitting! How you can manage all this? Are you perfect in organizing of time?

Tanna, I wonder if some of our comments don't go through. I surely thought I commented on this post. How could I forget your precious little granddaughter all dressed up in the pretty pale turquoise knitted dress that I know you knitted. It is quite alright to love your grandkids and what I like is that you share with us.

Your new shawlette is gorgeous too. The sweater you are wearing is attractive on you also. I think you properly named this post whirlwinds because you are a busy gal!

Have a great weekend. You are a sweet bloggy friend.
