Color Affection

This shawl pattern, Color Affection by Veera Valimaki is taking Ravelry (a knitting and crochet online community) by storm.  I tried to resist it...

But as you can clearly see, I utterly failed to resist.  There are so many possible color combinations and it is such an easy knit!  Just couldn't say no.  Caved in... to the thrill of seeing the colors mingle ... and the pattern emerge.

The yarn is Madelinetosh Tosh Light, which is w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l!!  Colors:  celedon, burnished and cedar.  All the Madelinetosh yarns are hand-dyed, so they have a wonderful depth of color that enchants and delights!

Now, I really must get busy on something besides my knitting!!  ;)

Hope you are all having a wonderful week!  blessings ~ tanna

This is absolutely stunning. At first glance, it looks like it is folded, a trick of the eye print.

Tanna, pretty as this one is, it can't compare to the green leaves, in my estimation. That green leaf shawl is sooooo beautiful and you look so beautiful in it, I'd wear it every day if I were you!

I like how you use items to "block" your shawls.
(I think block is the correct term)

This is a beauty!

Lucious colors and they would look good on you, but that might be why you chose them! I wonder how long it took you to knit that! Always a p l e a s u r e to see your projects!

The more I see this design on Ravelry, the more tempted I get to try one for myself. You've done a wonderful job.

Don't you just love Tosh yarns....They are so yummy...Definitely my newest addiction.

Ok Tanna...I am truly in awe of how quickly you knit and how beautifully it turns out! I really think you should do a YouTube video of yourself while you're knitting so I can actually see the speed at which you go. (You could just knit and chat a bit! lol)

Your "hugs" are so precious...what a lovely idea, and the spoons, well, I just plain want them. I love anything with a text or words...what a great idea for a gift.
