Under The Big Top 3-Ring Holiday

Things have been fast and furious and full of fun!  Yesterday, we took the boys to our public library for a big time "Under The Big Top."  I love libraries... I am thankful that due to my daughter's taking him frequently, my Little Man loves them, too.

Let me tell you the folks at the Tyler Public Library had outdone themselves with fun things for the little ones this time.  And, though the Littlest Man was not quite old enough to join in the activities, he was an excellent spectator for the sports!

There were all kinds of games and after each station, the child received a sticker.  You KNOW how they love their stickers!

Note Blue Speed between those tiny feet participating in the holiday fun, too!

Little Man really enjoyed himself and so did the other children.  My hat's off to the staff and volunteers of our local library.  They did an outstanding job.

This gentleman was the BEST story teller!!  He held his young audience spellbound.   Little Man was lurking behind the tree!  ;)

This was the favorite of the activities... since our Little Man LOVES to play in water!!

It is amazing how tirelessly he could dip them out, put them back and do it all again!  LOL!

Hoping each of you are enjoying the season.  blessings ~ tanna

How fun!
What a great library to set up such a fun day full of activities, and book reading for little ones.

Our town is too small to have a library. The closest one is 4 miles away.

We do have a 'Book-Mobile'.
Just imagine those activities going on in a book mobile...that would be a 3 ring holiday circus :)

Libraries are great!!! I just had to chuckle how Little Man was enjoying it all. I remember that elephant blowing out the butterflies. It was not that long ago when I participated in that game. Time passes quickly....enjoy it thoroughly!! Susan

They must be staying with your for awhile....and you are loving it! (no guess there.) Libraries are wonderful ... so much to learn and do---and ours are closed half the time now it seems, due to finances...

Tanna, y'all are just having the most fun and the best kind. That little car goes everywhere doesn't it? So cute. My Nashville gang is coming tomorrow just for the weekend. My husband's annual family get together is Saturday. I will have all my grands together!

Now back to getting the house ready.

Oh my goodness - I remember those days - I used to take my grandson to the library for story days.

Your grandson is so cute. And he will be brighter when it comes to school years.

Looked like so much fun!

This looks like so much fun, and you got such good pictures of everything! He must take Blue Speed everywhere, is it sort of like a security blanket? so cute!

Oh my, children are so much fun at that age. How wonderful for you that you are able to share in all of it. How nice to have a library that will do these special things for the little ones.
Your daughter sounds like mine. My daughter frequented the library regularly, so much so that when they made a new brochure for the country library, there was a photo of her and her little ones on the front of it. They didn't spend hours there every day, but they were at the story time every week and the special things that they had there for little ones.
Hugs, Cindy

You know I'm loving seeing Little Man enjoy the library!
One can see that Roo won't be far behind.

Are there a few "blue speeds" on hand just in case? I think it's the sweetest thing seeing that little blue car in the photos.

Best,
Bonnie

How fun. When my kids were way younger we participate in all of the library activities. They loved going. I don't recall anything so extravagant at ours, but yes libraries are great.

That's so nice that they spend time at the library like that. Libraries offer some wonderful programs don't they? Looks like y'all had a lot of fun.

Hey Tanna! Little Man enjoys his library, I can see. I love my library, too! Really like the look of your decorated house. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, only because I grew up in a house like yours. Loved it! I'm coming one day! :) Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful event for your little men to attend, Tana! It is very impressive for a library to do all of this.

I ♥♥♥ libraries, too! (I'm a librarian, so of course, I do!!!--semi-retired, but it still counts!) I must admit, I now steer clear of the kiddie section on storyhour day!!! since the grands are too old. Just can't take all that fun!

It's so nice when the kids are little and the simplest of activities mesmerize them. We don't have libraries here. Very sad indeed! Happy holidays to you and yours, Tammy

Ah, the sweet innocence of children! I think we would fall into despair without their reminders of simple, honest fun and trust. Praise God for children... and loving, creative librarians!

Look how big they are getting!
Being a grandma sure has it's rewards. Getting to see them in action, like this, is precious.
Now that is a great Library!
