Coming Attraction

It will be spring before we know it.  And, that's time for the 31st annual Historic Tyler on Tour weekend.

These lovely homes will be open for touring the weekend of March 25-27, 2011.

Our beautiful historic neighborhood will be full of blossoms and style.

The Tour is Historic Tyler, Inc.'s biggest fundraiser and the monies raised go back into the neighborhood through grants, advocacy and education to preserve our historic treasures.

It is a fun weekend, filled with many other activities including the breathtaking Azalea Trails.

If you have a chance, come join us.

We know you'll enjoy your visit.

See Historic Tyler's website for ticket and other information.

You and I have been reading one another's blogs for 3 years now, I believe. I look forward to this each year. You take wonderful photographs and I so wish I could come see the tour. I told you when we first connected my parents had very close friends who retired from CA to Tyler and my folks visited them each year enroute to our home in (then) Richmond, VA. Mother talked endlessly about beautiful Tyler, TX so I do have a tiny bit of perspective and a lot of reasons to see it.

I so hope I can come this year!

That sounds soooo pleasant. And there is no snow in any of those pictures. Are there really flowers there during that time? Are we on the same planet? I miss Texas!

Did I see your house on the tour of homes? What a lot of work that would be to get ready!

Thanks for the outside photo tour--I'm sure the insides are as lovely!

Indeed those are some lovely homes. You'll get spring a lot sooner than we will. If I were going to be in the area I'd love to attend.

Love your blog, I just found it , via Blue Moon Gardens which I also love. I was looking for some information about pruning my climbing roses. I saw your post about the tour of homes, thanks for the reminder, I love this time of year the best in Tyler, I look forward to it. I'll put your blog in my favorites to keep up :)
