My First Pair of Socks-- A Friday Favorite

On our trip to see Little Man and his folks, I decided to knit my first pair of socks.  They were a very portable project, fast and fun.  I love funky, comfortable footwear!

And, they fit!!  These are my only pair of homemade socks... so, they are my favorites!  I'm adding them to The WhistleStop Cafe's Friday Favorites

Had a super fun day playing golf with my friends!  Hope you had a fabulous Friday, too!

Now how cute are they!!!!!
I live in my terry house shoes....but I would probably switch to cute socks........
Don't think you could golf here...I think the wind would carry the ball to Mississippi/ha

good job on the socks! I don't knit or crochet. Maybe one of these days I'll learn.

I DO do English Smocking and sewing. Now I just need a grandbaby so I can do some! I did it for my kids, but that's been a long time ago.

Hope you had fun on your visit to see little man!

Great socks! I bought the wool which gives all those great colors when kitted! Mine were the blues..my mother knit the socks up for me. They are dear to my heart as now she has passed away.
Socks and crocs look fabulous!

So cute! Nice photo styling BTW with the maple tree in the background to give color complement to the socks. =)
