Birthday Wishes and An Easter Photo Journal

My precious son, Zachary, and his lovely bride, Candice, share April birthdays. Zack's was Easter Sunday and Candice's is this coming Friday.  It is hard to believe my BABY is 34.  He was due on Easter Sunday, but came 12 days later the year he was born...  A whole 9 lbs. 8 oz. of beautiful baby boy.  Only another parent knows how deep these heart strings go.  Wishing these two their best year yet!!

Now, you may just want to move on... there are a million photos of Easter festivity.  I just wanted to save them here for myself.  This was the first Easter we have all been together since the Littles.

Alex set the breakfast table for all his cousins and brother... He was up at 5:30 AM (before I'd had a chance to get it ready).  I think he did a fabulous job... better than I would have.  ;)  Such a good helper to his Noni.

I wasn't the only photo taker of the day.  I'm sure Amanda's are much better than these, but I love that I caught her in action.  ;)

If you stayed this long, you deserved a golden egg, too!!

There was no narrative but I can only guess the story of all that was going on on the front steps. But the photo of your grandson walking away laughing gives a good clue that it was a lot of fun. Your Easter looks full of joy, not only for the resurrection, but the blessing of family together.

Loved seeing all your family for Easter. Nothing is more fun than seeing the little ones scamper looking for eggs. The confetti eggs were new to me this year. My grands facetimed with us and when they started cracking eggs on each other heads I didn't say what I thought and am I glad for once I kept my mouth shut. When I saw all the confetti in their hair and on their clothes I understood. At first I thought they were playing rough.
Have a great week, Tanna.

Easter Day was certainly cause for much celebration ... happy birthday to your son and to his wife. Holidays are always so much more meaningful when young children are involved. I have very fond memories of egg hunts in my Mammaw's backyard.

You got the golden egg, Tanna, with all those lovely family members! I loved seeing their beautiful happy faces as they enjoyed Easter at Noni's house. And your baby is just a little bit younger than my baby. Mine is coming to see me next weekend! Happy birthday to your baby and his beautiful wife!

I think the breakfast table is the cutest one I've ever seen!

Hello, my sweet friend.
I've missed you!!
Sorry that I've been MIA, though I am still kicking, contrary to popular belief that I fell off the face of the earth **grin**.
I posted an explanation, of sorts, today on my blog.
Guess what?? I am finally, after waiting years, and years, getting to join the grandparents club.
I am simply over the moon.
Your grands are darling, and growing like weeds!

Looking forward to catching up on your pics and posts.

{{hugs}}

p.s. Thanks for checking up up me :)
