Morning Walks and Yarn Therapy

Our lives have been turned a bit upside down lately.  So many good friends and loved ones with serious issues.  My own Beloved suffering greatly with back issues.  Life is just hard sometimes.  Early morning walks/prayer time become essential for me.

So does a little yarn therapy:  Openwork wrap by Lion Brand

Yarn is:  Shawl in a Ball by Lion Brand also.  Most appropriately the colorway is Healing Teal.

I have always surrounded myself with strong women friends.  I've been so blessed by their strength.  Today, it seems we are all having that strength challenged... we are having brought home how powerless we really are... how much we really need the peace that surpasses all understanding...

I'm not mentioning by name, but there are several who need prayers, including My Beloved and myself.  He is scheduled for back surgery next Monday.  God knows all of the needs of the many.  The thing I have most treasured about blogging is the power and willingness of prayer for one another.  Thank you in advance for your much treasured prayers.

You've got it woman... prayers being said for you and yours.
Sending {{hugs}} too.

Life is hard, sometimes.
Know that you are not alone. Not only is our Heavenly Father aware of your needs, and blessing you, so many friends are thinking of you and offering prayers on your behalf.

Beautiful picture from your walk.
Your shawl is beautifully done, and the color is soft and peaceful feeling

I quite agree that life is so often just plain hard. It does seem that I hear or read of many more people having challenges of one kind or another these days. I will be praying for your hubby and for you, too, sweet friend. I love the beautiful color in your new shawl! Take care.

Love that healing teal! Hand work is good therapy when we feel challenged more than usual by life--or any time. Praying now and will be for both of you as you go through this together. (Our men were smart to marry nurses weren't they?) Have a good weekend!

Oh sweet friend, that "peace that surpasses all understanding" is always and forever a prayer away. We lean on Him because we know, He loves us and wants only the best for us. I join with you in prayer for the two of you and for those in your circle who remain nameless to us, but are known by Him. May His peace wash over each of you and His healing power spill upon each and every one of you. I will keep your husband in my prayers that his surgery will be an outstanding success. May His Spirit of Love and Peace surround you all sweet friend. ((hugs)).

Because YOU are such a strong woman yourself, you will get through this period. Without a doubt times can be trying and difficult, but with grace and dignity and belief in tomorrow, better days do come. Thinking of you and keeping you and your soul mate in my thoughts.

I have both you and your husband covered on this one. It has been a most difficult winter for so many of our friends, my husband and I included. So much pain and surgery and such slow healing. May your patience be great and prayer always forthcoming. Will be thinking of you on Monday. Sending hugs. Susan

Oh, sweet friend. Life is hard sometimes and being strong is even harder. Prayer as a first response is such a blessing. Joining you in your prayers for you and yours. Holding you up when you are weary. Much love. d.

So sorry to hear of the illnesses and troubles between your friends, Tanna. I will pray for your husband's surgery to go well Monday and for his quick and full recovery. Back troubles are so all encompassing--my husband began his retirement with back troubles that went on for a long time but thankfully have resolved with PT.

Your open work shawl is so lovely in both color and design!

Keeping your husband in my thoughts and sending healing energy and prayers as he has back surgery. Walking and knitting are definitely very positive and appropriate ways to settle one's mind. Healing teal is lovely. Sending hugs and blessings of peace, Tammy
