Mystery Solved.

The Mystery Mitts are no longer a mystery...

This WILD little yarn does NOTHING to show the Winding Staircase and Beads!

Or my Vikkel Braid... LOL!  (It's the stitches going sideways between the diagonal lines) A new one for me.

Sacrificed one rosewood size 2 needle to this experiment... trying to work the right cross cable without a cable needle... but, I guess it was fun enough to make that okay... sort of...  have I mentioned I get attached to my tools??   LOL

The Noro jacket will stay a vest, confirmed by you ladies.  I will finish the arm holes with the same finish as the body, block and call it done.  FUN little project!

Nancy and knittaddict, thank you so much for your input.  I can't find a way to respond other than here.  Knittaddict, I hope you love your sleeves; please, let me know.  Nancy, I'd love to see your quilts!

A little out of the ordinary happened yesterday... a realtor rang the doorbell and asked if we might consider selling our home... said she had someone interested.  Nothing will probably come of it; but, of course, it starts the wheels turning.  Restless.   Distracted.  Will I ever feel completely settled after leaving The Brick Street Bungalow?  Arrrrrgggghhhh....

Have a wonderful day, my friends.  blessings ~ tanna

Those are amazing! I love the colors but the workmanship and pattern is outstanding. You did a fantastic job.

We are getting ready to move in the spring so I "get" what you are going through and my wheels are turning, too.

Have a wonderful Thursday- xo Diana

I love these funky hand warmers. That is an awesome stitch you have used.Yes, it would show up better on a solid color. So pretty. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Adorable little mitts, but what a lot of work!
If someone offered on our little old cottage I'd probably be tempted. I am a bit addicted to the thrill of bringing a new place up to its full potential.

They are lovely. I so love the yarn you used. I know they will keep your hands warm and cozy. I can see the stitches perfectly. Sorry about the loss of your rosewood size 2 needle...just know it was a most worthy cause for sacrifice. :)

Wishing you a day filled with much joy and many blessings sweet friend. ((hugs))

They turned out very cute. Sorry to hear about your rosewood needle though. It's hard to lose a favorite.

Amazing little hand warmers--so cheery. And that knock on the door? Wouldn't that be nice if they made it "worth your while" and you could not resist?

Your hand warmers are just awesome...I love the cool stitch and beads.
That is exciting to know that someone is interested in your house! Would that it were ours! :) I love many things about our home, mainly the Back 6. But some days I think it's time for a change before I get too old to want to move somewhere but a retirement home! :)

The realtor doorbell ring happened to me almost thirty years ago . . .
My answer . . .”well, I guess if the price was right . . . maybe” . . .
It churned up a whole bunch of happy stories and life after that . . .

And the “doorbell realtor ring” has happened here in my current home . . twice . . .
Haven’t been tempted though . . . yet . . .

Keep us posted . . .

Love the fingerless knitted marvel . . . what a talent.

Good news on the vest!

I was a realtor;)Ringing doorbellls was never my forte..

Kudos for those who can..
Cold calling never for me.I just liked working with clinets that chose me lol..It was a GREAT job for many many yrs..

But again..as mentioned above..if the price is right..and you are not in the home of your dreams..and feel up to a move...
I am sure you know the market values of homes you might be interested in?
Just make sure of that..in case they are higher than you expected.
I sound like your mother ;)
Love the gloves! So talented Tanna..and great taste!

gorgeous!!! bummer about the needles though. I love the colors in the colorway and they look cheerful to wear on a dreary day.

God definitely did not give me the brain for knitting! Such lovely work, Tanna. And that's kind of exciting news about your surprise visitor. I wonder what decision you'll make?

Nice work on that mystery mitt, Tanna. It's an intense pattern IMHO. Sure wish you were close enough for a consultation; I had problems with the graph and would love to compare notes with you. I have one mitt finished but haven't started #2 yet....need to give my brain a rest as I am in the midst of 2 other mystery knits that are socks. Hugs to you!

Your talent is amazing! I guess for you, challenging is fun! Wow, it looks hard. I couldn't hold those tiny beads...my fingers are too big! LOL! Very pretty and impressive.
Have you ever considered selling? You could do well.
