I had so much fun watching my youngest granddaughter, Blayklee, along with her kindergarten classmates, make Gingerbread Houses last week . I think most of the kids ate as much candy as went on their houses! Ha! Though, our Miss B did eat some of her candy, she left no spot unadorned on her little house!
I enjoyed another FUN little Christmas project this past weekend...
This is a free pattern from Jen Tyler of Hooks 'n Tales called Ouma's Vintage Bunting.
It was fast, fun and so very festive!! I made it as a gift for a friend...
But, both Evan and I were sad to see it go. I may have to whip up another one if I can find the time!
Now that I think about it... Blayklee's VERY decorated Gingerbread House bears some resemblance to her Noni's VERY decorated side board. If a little is good, a lot is better... right? Only sometimes! LOL! We embrace our Griswold around here. ;)
Wishing you all a week filled with WONDER and JOY...

Cute and festive project, Tanna. Merry Christmas!
That sounds like a fun project, Happy Holidays!
I also was in a kg class last week helping with one of those fleece blankets. Kind of a big job for little hands, thus the need for one adult per child. That looks like a perfect, festive gingerbread house. And the bunting--well it would take me a lot longer but it looks enticing! What a fun gift to give someone! Enjoy this week looking forward.
Both Blayklee and that bunting get all the heart-eyes from over here!! Both are adorable!! xoxo
I love your granddaughter's picture with her gingerbread house!
Your bunting is so very pretty. Yes, you need to make one to keep!
Blessings to you.
BlayKlee looks so proud and happy with her Gingerbread project . . .
What fun you could be with her.
Isn’t that a fun age . . . I call it the “little sponge” age . . .
So eager to soak up every bit of everything!
I like your Bunting project . . . miss speedy!
I would probably be working on it into the new year!

So many blogs are out of architectural digest for the holidays..one girl on IG made me smile,,there is a section for stories..she said she had been seeing such beautifully decorated homesand started looking around hers..well she filmed it and showed us..her candor was so refreshing..there was stuff everywhere..baking..packing ,carfting,ironing..her word board had been altered by her 14 year old son to say something off:)Anyway all this to say..we're all different..and I love that..as well as that BUNTING! and that cute face of hers:)
Merry Merry Christmas!
I agree with your philosophy! I enjoyed seeing your decorations. I imagine the children had a ball decorating their gingerbread houses. Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a wonderful Christmas.
