My first yarn with Yak... Nua by Carol Feller (StolenStitches.com) 60% Merino Wool, 20% Yak, 20% Linen. On its way to being a sweater... hopefully, one I'll like. ;) The yarn is yummy!
Confederate Rose... so many blooming through our neighborhood!
Beautiful to behold on my morning walks... They start out pink and open to white...
And, I don't know what this wild plant is, but I LOVE it.
May you seek and scatter your own joys... blessings ~ tanna

The bottom plant is called Beautyberry bush. They remind me of pop beads from childhood that we made necklaces with. lol
Yup, beautyberry. Nice photos. have a nice week.
Beautiful roses. It's getting cold here so remnants of summer are finally fleeing. The yarn does look yummy, love the colors of course. I showed off your shawl at my book club. They were all so in awe!
Hi, Tanna, that wild bush is one of my most favorite bushes - it is American Beautyberry and it is gorgeous. We have many here in Winnsboro and I love when they are full of berries in the Fall. I so love your blog. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and life with us. And oh, that yarn is heavenly.

Yarn and roses, what could be better in life? Ok, maybe a few pieces of chocolate and some tea....just saying. Love, love the Confederate Rose, so beautiful. The yarn looks yummy, too. I love linen, it washes well and lasts forever...not sure about the yak, I feet it feels awesome. I am looking forward to seeing what you make with it. :)
Wishing you and yours a day filled with many blessings sweet friend. :)
Hi, Lisa B.! Thank you so much for stopping by and your sweet words. I've tried my best to try to e-mail you back or find a place I could let you know how much I appreciate your sharing about the American Beautyberry. They sure live up to their name! I've loved them for years, but had never known their name! Thank you again, along with all my other blog peeps who KNEW and shared! blessings ~ tanna
