Cotton Candy, Farmer's Market and Good News

I finished this shawl last Sunday evening.  I wish you could feel it... so soft, so light, so squishy!  Details are here on Ravelry:  South Bay Shawl

One of my knitting friends, Becky, had these wonderful soaps and knitted cloths for sale at the Lindale Farmer's Market.  The soap smells heavenly and she has done such a nice job of packaging them, too!!  A fun little prize or gift.

My Beloved and I celebrated news of some good test results!  Good health is deeply appreciated these days.  Especially for my Beloved.

Hope each of you have something wonderful to celebrate this week...

Good health is always something to celebrate. Glad for that for your beloved.

The shawl is heavenly....I can just feel it. I'm thinking how pretty it would look with a long flowing white cotton dress.

Love the little gift pack...what a smart idea. I need to make a few more dishcloths and packaging them like that.

Hugs and Kisses

Tanna, I love the pink shawl and the linen blouse under it. Not easy to find linen blouse here, so nice and comfortable to wear especially in hot weather.

Wonderful news--certainly something to celebrate. Thankful with you. The shawl turned out to be a stunner … it will make a "statement" when worn.
Our knitting group has been knitting a lot of soap holders and wash cloths for Haiti==oh yes and hot pads --simple and fast. The sweet washcloths you show do make a nice gift with some pretty soap. Have a good weekend!

Dear Tanna, The shawl is beautiful and once again a "happy" color that I love!
I am so glad for the good test results and the celebration of life.
It is so good to be back and visiting with my friends.
Thank you for your good wishes and prayers for my brother. He spent time with me recovering and is on a road to getting better. It will be a long road with many adjustments; however it is a good road with many blessings.

Health! Would we have ever believed it would have been so important when we were in our 20's and taking it for granite? Hubby's test come back in a few weeks...we will see.
Your work again is just beautiful and I plan to go to farmers markets today, this weather is just wonderful.

The Rhinehart quote is a good one to remember and live, isn't it? And yes, good news from health reports is like a surge of happiness and energy through the body and mind. Wonderful!

That dreamy shawl! Try to let us see a pic when you wear it sometime.

Tanna, it's me again. I just had to come back and say that I clicked on your 2009 posts and read some, many of which touched me and helped me know you better. But when I saw the post of you saying goodbye to Tess and the pictures of the beautiful sweetheart, I cried for you. Well, this is just from the heart of one woman to another, I'm glad I know about her.
