Beach Time with The Little Men

Oh, the week was so SHORT!  I loved every. single. minute. of time with The Little Men & Co..  We enjoyed the Y-azy Y-iver (Lazy River) lots and lots and lots of times!!  Alex, who no longer wants to be referred to as Little Man because he is "big", jumped in and raced Roo and I around... passing us every time.

There were also lots of sand castles built... and torn down.  Roo enjoyed eating the sand off his squid's legs in spite of his Momma's and my admonishments NOT to eat it.

There were miles of beach walks and shell seeking.

And, oh, the miles of "HAAS-soc BAWL" (soccer ball to the rest of you) with Little Roo.  That little-two-year-old-running-machine chased his ball TIRELESSLY up and down, back and forth, all around the beach... he took turns wearing the rest of us down.  His Noni LOVED her time trying to keep up!!  Zachary told me I finally had my Runner.  ;)  I believe I do.

There were sugars and shells, waves and wonder, magic and merriment... all passing much too quickly... Now, to get settled back into life without the Little Men & Co....

{{sigh}}

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week... I'll be catching up as soon as I can.

So sweet it almost made me cry, Tanna. Your little men are soooo darling. I fondly remember Florida beach vacations with my two boys when they were just that size.
Missed you!

Oh! What wonderful memories you built last week as you fashioned those sand castles! I'm sure you are missing them with a pang in your heart this morning. They are just such handsome little men!

The LOVE language spills out in this post!
I wish the special words that little ones create, wouldn't develop into English. So cute how they speak.

~sigh~
You make being a Grandmother, special and beautiful.

What do you mean he doesn't want to be called Little Man? Oh no...I don't know what I will do, when mine tells me this! You have me so excited for my visit to Texas...my stomach just did a flip looking at your images. I have to get me one of those sombrero hats, yours is a dandy. Your grandsons are just adorable! I'm glad to see and hear that you had a wonderful time with your little men. It's hard then to go home and be without them, isn't it. I miss my little ones very badly. it's wonderful to spend time with them, but so hard to leave them.
