Screaming with Frustration!!

I have been having SERIOUS issues with trying to read blogs, comment on blogs... even SEE my own blog!!  This afternoon, I was soooo excited!  I had a short run where I was able to see my some of my favorite blogs and even leave comments!  I was working my way down the line and all of a sudden:  "Internet Explorer is unable to display this web page."  When I click the "diagnose problem" button it works awhile and then says, " blahblahblah.blogspot is online but is not responding at this time."  PLEASE!!!  I am so frustrated with this!!!!  SOOOO FRUSTRATED!  I have wondered if it is due to my computer automatically updating to Internet Explorer 9 a few weeks ago (about the time these problems began).  Or if there is a problem with my computer itself.  Or if it is just blogger.com.  As soon as I am home in Texas, this laptop is going to the shop!!  I have no idea right now if this post will even work.
Amanda, my daughter, says I should try another browser.  I just haven't been willing to try a different one.... yet...

I know y'all were not interesting in hearing a rant  this Sunday afternoon.... but I'm screaming, even though it may be silently (the boys are napping!  LOL!)... I'm happy I was able to visit with some of y'all... Will keep trying on the rest!  Blessings to all... Tanna

Nothing is as frustrating that is for sure. I have my share of problems too sometimes and I just don't know what to do. Good luck! ;D

Tanna, I have heard others that have internet explorer having the same problems. I use firefox. I have heard several switch to firefox and have no problems. I think firefox is faster than internet explorer and have been using it for a couple of years. I too am having some trouble leaving comments today. That is a blogger issue.

I've had problems using anything google for quite a while. G-mail constantly gets stuck & won't move. igoogle goes in & out. Blogger is unbelievably difficult at times, when I'm trying to add many images. It throws them all over the place & I spend literal hours trying to arrange the way I want. Unfortunately, my limited knowledge of computer speak, html, etc leaves me at the mercy of google & IE, which I personally hate. Thanks Bill Gates!

I've just knocked on wood before I say that I've had no problem with blogger. I think it might be the browsers that are giving people so many problems. I am soooo happy that I finally bit the bullet and purchased a MAC after years being frustrated with Dell. Also no problems with gmail and google.

So glad you are having fun with the little boys!! When my sisters and I decide on a fall date, I'll let you know.

Best,
Bonnie

I quit using IE a couple of years ago, I was having lots of the same problems you're experiencing. So I switched to Firefox and love it! It's a free download...try to download it on your computer and see if that helps your problems....lots cheaper than sending the computer to the shop!

Good luck,
Judy

....and I forgot to say that I blog (download pictures, post, etc) using Windows Live Writer, another free program. I don't use blogger for posting or downloading pictures AT ALL!

Been there done that!!!! I found if I didn't check the keep signed in box on my dashboard it worked for me.

Now, a week or so later, I'm not having any problems. Go figure!

BTW I heard you screaming all the way to California...HaHaHa Just kidding!!!

Tanna,
I share the same frustrations.
I finally did what Wanda did and "unchecked" my sign in with Google. I enter my name and password, then I can read and leave comments.
My question is, where is the phone number or email address, that we can get ahold of someone to discuss the problems!
It is so frustrating. I wish I was computer savy.

I had to switch over to Mozilla Firefox a few weeks ago when Blogger was having all of those problems with login issues. I still can't use Internet Exporer! But everything in Firefox is fine. It IS frustrating! Sigh. Yes, try it and see if it works for you, too!

Download Mozilla Firefox and your problems will go away. I use Firefox or occasionally Google Chrome. The only problem with Blogger I have had is that my followers occasionally disappear. They always come back. :o)
Life is too short for such frustration!

I can definitely understand your frustration. I use Firefox and the transition was very easy. You might give it a try. Love the shots of your new little man and his brother in the previous posts.

I've been hearing of others having problems and a couple of times blogger has not behaved properly. I hope it's your IE and you can change browsers--or maybe it's just being away from home but not sure why that would cause a problem. I was happy to get your comment today anyway! Have fun there among your sweet blessings!

You've been missed. I thought it was just a matter of baby love!

It's good to have you back. Here's hoping for no more glitches...

Blessings, Debbie

Explorer 9 is junk - get rid of it and go to Foxfire! You are not the only one having problems - a lot of us did or are.

Sorry - it is not your computer.

Have fun with your two grandsons.

One more example of all our love/hate relationships with our computers!!! I think I have dealt with every computer issue there is but still feel inadequate. I've been having issues of slowness for the past couple of days, that's a browser issue. I haven't made the leap to Foxfire, but am seriously considering it.
Best,
Susan

Well, I have to say that I use Firefox and I've still had a few problems with comments not showing up. It's very frustrating to be sure. My one big complaint with Blogger is that I can't put photos on my blog side by side as I once did. I know it's a free service, but still...when I was once able to do something, why did they take it away? Good luck and I doubt it is your computer as someone else said.

I tend to think it is all tied in to blogger....I didn't update and had many problems....they seem to have been resolved for the moment (fingers crossed)
I'm like you, hesitant to try another server...lol
It is so good to hear from you. I have had you in my thoughts. I know you are in Noni Heaven. I hope you aren't driving home....if so please be careful and take along lots of tissues.

Hi Tanna, I think we are all having the same sort of problems off and on. I switched to Google Chrome and it works most of the time, but the past two days, at about 5 pm, it starts to tell me that the webpage can't be displayed. After I downloaded Chrome, I updated to IE9 but it doesn't work all the time so mostly I use Chrome. After a short period of nothing loading, it will all of a sudden be fine again. No rhyme or reason. There's no thumbprint showing up in my sidebar for your blog, so there must be something going on from your side, but I've noticed other blogs with the same thing going on. It's kinda making the rounds or something. I'm sure it isn't your computer -- just a worldwide problem. :/ Have a great day despite the frustration. Best wishes, Tammy

Oh I so enjoy a good rant...it makes me feel like I am human! I am glad you got it working. A good rant gets it out of our system and lets us go on with life...don't want to be like that pot that held it all in. LOL
