Booted Up!

Two weeks ago, I found these boots at Academy and was soooooo excited!  I LOVE colorful rain boots.  I kept wishing for it to rain so that I could wear them (legitimately...lol); and, we really needed the rain.

Has it EVER rained!!  Wow!  Evan had to find another route home today... part of the road was flooded.  I have had to save five fish that had gone over the edge of the pond!  Poor babies.  And, my plants... they are all so battered.  I hope they recover before Little Man's birthday party.  We have one roof leaking.  Still all in all, I am so grateful for the rain... and, for being home and not still traveling in these storms.  I hope everyone is safe and dry.

Tanna, those are the cutest boots. Glad you are getting to break them in. I hope you don't wash away. We had to save fish like that one time when the dam around around pond broke with heavy rains. It was right after we had enlarged it and I guess the ground was so soft it gave way. We had tons of fish flopping in puddles.

OH NO! Now I need rain boots! But not as much rain as you got. We have rain showers every afternoon. So good for the garden. Sorry about the fish.

Didn't realize that it rained this time of year in Texas. Up here in the Pacific Northwest we got hit hard with rain, also.
At least you look cute in those boots when it does rain!

Cute, cute boots Tanna! I saw on the news tonight that Tyler got 6" of rain! Wow! Glad you saved the fish! :)

I'm so sad we are going to miss Alex's party at your house. We have a family work annual meeting with Jim's job that weekend. Sooo sad to miss it but I'm sure you will post many great pictures! Enjoy your time with LM and your sweet daughter!
