If you weren't around last month, there are a few of us who are taking on a mission to thrive. We are doing some soul searching to find what it is we need, as individuals, to live our lives in the best possible way. To have more joy, more passion, more zest... more life in our living. Or just whatever. It is different for each of us. We are checking in the last Thursday of the month to support and encourage each other. We welcome any new thrivers. =)

Tanna, saw your visit and got your message. Thanks. Go to the Toastmasters International website, and it will direct you to the nearest club. If you live in a larger town, there might be two or three clubs and you could join the one you like best. My club was a lot of fun - more informal while we did our business. This is one thing in my life I will never regret doing. I learned about myself and what I am capable of doing more than any college class could teach me. Lots of people stop at the first level of achievement, but the true learning is going on passed that first level and working the entire program.
Hi Noni - I'm ashamed. I've not been striving to thrive. I'm busy as all get-out, but just trying to get by. That is no way to live. I'm glad you came by, cuz it made me start thinking about it again. I'm trying to kick-start myself but it's been so hard. I've had some moments - like when I'm working in my garden like I did on Saturday and Monday. Makes me feel alive. But especially on work days I just come home and flop. I hate it. I haven't been able to make the commitment. That's why I haven't reported anything...I'm going to write your goals down for January and see if I can work on those. Thanks for the visit!
Tanna, I forgot to say that every Toastmaster starts at the same level, but yet everyone's confidence level is different. It will definitely help your confidence no matter where you begin. Keep me informed. BTW - Toastmasters will be a 'thriving' experience. :)
Thanks for stopping by and for your encouraging words. I think my becoming healthy plan totally fits with your mission: thrive. Thanks for letting me know about the issues with the video. I think I have them fixed. Take Care~Stacey
