Just noticed the quote for the day by Elain Heffner:
The art of mothering is to teach the art of living to children.
I love that! But, I think it might really work out the other way... =)

Just remember that even though the little arms and legs are not painted on, in the first few days he really will need some help. After that he should be fine on his own.

I'll take him between the years when he stops needing diapers and when he starts needing them again.
LOL!!!!!! Sure, take the easy years... (I think he forgot about the teens. =) )
I miss you and can't wait to see you again this weekend! =)
ME, TOO!!
I just now saw your post and LOVE it! The mother/daughter pic is precious; you will have many more now that the next generation is brewing! And thanks for sharing the beautiful quote...so true about it being the other way around.
When my sons were little, my late mother bought a framed thought for me:
"We hold our children's hands for a while
And their hearts forever."
It's me again. Where are you? Miss your posts and photos.
My posts are updating again. You can see it on your blog. Don't ask what I did because I spent more time today working on each component of two blogs and reading Feedburner & Google directions and I STILL don't know.
Come back!
California Girl, I love the quote your mother gave you... one thing's for sure... they hold our hearts forever. =) Thank you for missing me and YES, your blog is updating now! Yea! for your tenacity in resolving it!
Lauri, Amanda has already told me that she has plans for the three generation photos! You know how she is with pictures! =) Who knew that I would become so fascinated with them too? I love seeing all of your little brood! Photos have become good second place for the real thing... and rememberances.
