Schultertuch / Dreieckstuch
This is the third one of the Schultertuch / Dreieckstuch shawls I've made. There are only a handful of patterns I will do more than once and I'm already working on the fourth.
Some of that has to do with the fact it's easy to memorize, so absolutely meditative, rhythmic work. Some has to do with the finished object. I love it.
It has been perfect for these past couple of weeks when my mind has been so easily distracted. Details of pattern and yarn are here:
Schultertuch / Dreieckstuch
While this is the pattern I have used, it originally had an English translation. The translation has been removed. Seems there was a big hoopla about who the designer was. That said, the shawl is the same as the Virus Shawl if you would like to try it.
I've also started two other projects this week along with the fourth one of these! Hubby's surgery having imposed a quieter lifestyle for the moment has my needles and hooks busy! LOL!

Good Morning, Tanna. Your shawl is absolutely gorgeous. I pray that your husband is feeling better every day. May the Lord bless you both.
I can see why you've made this shawl more than once. It is lovely! I agree with the Aeschylus quote.
Best,
Bonnie
gorgeous! I love the size and the colors and I can see why you made in again. I love to re knit favorite patterns.
Such talent amazes me . . .
And so beautiful . . .
I do hope your hubby is doing well and the pain is lessened considerably!
Happy Mother's Day my friend . . .
Lovely shawl. Thanks for the links. :) I am glad things are quiet so you can relax and keep those hooks and needles moving. It's such a stress reliever to be able to be creative, and you my sweet friend, are always creative in all the things you do. I can't wait to see the next lovely shawl, too. Blessings to you always sweet friend, and prayers being said for your husbands quick recovery.
Beautifully done, my friend. You really have a talent for turning a skein of yarn into a work of art!!
Sending heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery for your sweet husband.
I'm sure that you are taking great care of him, and reminding him to take it easy :)
Have a great day!

The colors are so, so beautiful, as is the shawl. I love the way you displayed it across the window! Hope your husband is improving more each day.
Absolutely stunning!
Such a beautiful shawl. Love your yarn. I wish I could learn to crochet, but there is a mental block I can't get across. Wishing your husband the best and quiet rest as he recovers. Susan

Isn't it a gift to have the ability to spend time creating something so beautiful:)You are gifted..it's a work of art..
So many people have no hobbies..pastimes..and then when life throws you a curve and you are not able to be as active..you are at a loss:(
I know I am grateful to like to do things at home:)
I think you and Linda have so much in common..you would have stitching afternoons:) And maybe give classes and I would come:)
Healing thoughts conitinued for our dear husband.
The name Virus Shawl just doesn't seem to do it justice. hahaha....
It's gorgeous!
This lovely shawl could be the ethereal stuff that I picture Irish fairies wearing, it must be such a pleasure to wear! These quiet times while your husband recuperates have probably brought times of needed rest. I was so thankful to read of the peace you felt through the power of prayer. I've been there and experienced it over and over. And I read of the gift to your friend in observance of her husband's birthday. That was such a joyous thing to do. I'm sure it brought joy to her heart just to see the colorful yarns in cheerful designs wrapping the trees.
Tanna, that is absolutely the most gorgeous shawl! I love the colors and the pattern. Great idea to stick with something you like and it becomes easier the more you do it. It's stunning! Hope you have a good day. - Judy
