For our friend...
What do you do for a friend whose loss has been so great? This friend unexpectedly lost her beloved husband last October to a fierce and brief illness. He was the picture of health, the life of the party... the last person on earth you ever thought something like this would happen to.
His birthday was this week...
Many hands created pieces to become a big expression of love and encouragement for our friend. A spot of joy. A reminder that she is not alone... though I can only imagine it still feels that way sometimes.
May God bless and keep you, dear lady. May He lift you when you are in the depths. May you feel hope and joy and peace. May He give you strength in your journey. May you feel His presence and know you are not alone. blessings ~ tanna

What a happy treat for your friend and expression of your love. My dear husband died suddenly and any gesture of caring is a blessing. Those trees are very joyful.
That is such a wonderful gift! I hope she finds some comfort in knowing how much people care. ♥

What brightness and love for your friend as she still adjusts. Those firsts are so hard after losing a loved one, and the fact that you remembered and created such beauty I am sure will mean so much to her and be an encouragement.

Hugs for your friend! I'll bet you and her other friends made her day a lot more cheerful.
Y'all are very loving friends and quite creative!
That is one of the nicest things I think I've ever seen done for a friend who has lost a loved one. - Such a bright spot of color to help ease the pain and sadness.
...several years ago I saw a number of trees wrapped like this, I had never seen it done before.
