Schultertuch / Dreieckstuch: The Behemoth Shawl

Here's the scoop:
Free Pattern: Schultertuch / Dreieckstuch

There is a link on the pattern's Ravelry page for an authorized English translation with chart.

I used almost all of three skeins of Noro Tayio Sport in colorway 11.  Size H hook.

There was a border I did not do.  It had points... and they just didn't look right with my scallops, so I just did a row of single crochet for my last row.

This is a very fast project and easy to memorize the four row repeat.

Of course, I'm smitten with the colors of Noro.

And, I love the feel of this mostly cotton yarn.
My Ravelry page:  here.

Because there can never be too many beautiful colors in the world...

Just stunning! It certainly doesn't look as if it was a quick project. It does look like a statement piece, a classic item that will catch admiring glances when you wear it casual or formal.

And yes, there can never ever be too many beautiful colors in the word!

It's gorgeous, and I have a white duvet on my bed, and a shawl like that would look lovely on it. Do you every display your shawls like that?

I love the way it looks on the stair railing. Beautiful.

That is so beautiful, Tanna. What a treasure to wear. Love it. Wish I had the confidence to try crochet, but then, I really don't need another avenue to go down.

Wondering how your fern is doing. I would be tempted to. It's so delicate (I hope not too much so) and pretty. You choose the best colors for your shawls. This one is amazing! And your photography shows it off so well.
