Better Late Than Never...

I made this little Baby Surprise Jacket in 2012 the year Miss B was born knowing it was going to be too big for her to wear for awhile.

I had planned that it would be the perfect Easter-week jacket for last year (she would be a little over 18 months).

But, then there was the selling of two houses, the moves and starting the  remodel ...

And, the little Baby Surprise Jacket was long forgotten in the knitting supplies...

Then, last week I had the opportunity to spend the day with Miss B.  Her Dad hadn't packet a jacket... and Noni remembered!  It was a perfect fit!

She could have gotten a whole other year of wear had I thought of it last spring... but, better late than never!! hee hee

You will notice we had her hair braided fresh out of the bath... only lasted about ten minutes.  Ha! Busy girl!

I was noticing your Miss B's hair done so nicely. She's very cute and the sweater looks so nice. What a sweet little granddaughter and it's hard to believe she's only 3! (right?)

Ahhh Tanna, Little Miss B is just adorable. I love that age. And what a great job you did on her little jacket. It's very pretty and looks like spring.

So adorable... I love it.

She is certainly a cutie! Isn't it amazing how fast they can take the braids down? Mine does that as well.
The sweater looks as if it were made for that little outfit she has on. So nice that you had it in the time of need...and remembered. (I would have forgotten)
Hope that your kids will hang on to some of these childhood things that you have made for your grandchildren. Later in life...they will find much appreciation in their Nona's talents.

She's adorable and I love the jacket! I'll have to check out that pattern even though I have no little ones to give it to. Am I the only one who does that?

That is a really cute sweater, but not nearly as cute as your precious little Miss B! She's just a doll!

What a pretty cardigan! It fits your granddaughter perfectly and the elbow length sleeves are perfect to allow her to play freely, yet keeps her warm.

My granddaughter has very fine hair and hairstyles are a challenge as barrettes and elastic bands don't stay in.

Delightful pictures . . .
Love the hand knit too . . .
Perfect timing . . .
The French braid, OUT, brought a smile and memory . . .
