Rain and Resolutions...

While last YEAR may have been lost... there were some POUNDS FOUND... and some regular exercise LOST along with the year!  I resolved to start out with walking to help FIND my way home...

Home to feeling like myself...

Carrying 17 extra pounds... all packed on in one year... Doesn't feel like home...

I am on my way HOME...  and 36 degree rainy weather did NOT stop me from taking those first steps yesterday.  I've been thinking a lot the past few days about feeling like my life has had more than a chapter closing...  I feel like a book in a series is finished.

The next one has begun...

This was Amanda and me enjoying Christmas Morning Mimosas...

Today, I'm offering a toast to each of you and cheers to whatever your resolve is for 2015!!  I'll be finding my way HOME... I hope you FIND whatever you need and want this coming year.

Love your word "found" and I need to get with the walking too! I love my crochet blanket. It's one of my favorite things. I'm so happy about your crochet love, it's so fun!! Life is always bends in the road but I love the discoveries along the way!!

Happy New Year. May 2015 bring you (and me) lots of joy, happiness and GOOD HEALTH.

You'll find your way 'home' --and will get rid of those extra pounds. I've fought that battle all of my adult life. Am finally winning --but still have to work hard at it.

Hugs,
Betsy

You don't look like you've put on 17 lbs. Mimosas are one of my favorite brunch drinks. Sadly, can't get any here and always forget about them when I travel. Cheers to you! Tammy

Those boots are made for walking! I'll bet those extra pounds don't stand a chance of hanging around.

i know 17 will be gone in no time. I have missed walking with my knee but am ready to try again as soon as I get over whatever bug I have now. Great picture of you and Amanda!

Oh girl... I have no idea where those 17 pounds are hiding on you... You looked great when I saw you a few weeks ago!! I know it is so easy to pack it on and especially when your life is turned upside down with moves and other sorts of details. I believe in you...you will have those pounds out of sight and out of mind in no time!!!
Keep up the walking!!

Blessings,
Shug

I love your word, I love that you are taking control. I have a few to lose myself, even though I am thin I hate extra weight it makes me feel sluggish. I walked today and it felt great.

Best of luck and by the way I think you look fantastic.

I'm working on taking off a few that jumped on when I wasn't looking.
Now that the pool is closed, I need to get to the YMCA and join a exercise class and maybe a Zumba Gold ....

Your Christmas Morning picture is so sweet. Beautiful smiles.
