Porch Pictures 2013 and Happy New Year 2014

Every Christmas, we attempt The Porch Picture.  The first thought I had when the buyer's loan fell through on our home was that there would be at least one more Christmas Porch Picture.

There are always escapees and you can tell by the faces that not everyone enjoys this endeavor...

I am happy for "one more", though we let Kathy get away before our session and we missed those not with us this year...

Our last visitors left yesterday and all are safely home.  It is so. very. quiet. around here.  My heart breaks every time the house empties...

Even though there is heartbreak,  I am so very, very, very thankful for the times we shared.

From our home to yours, I hope each of you run headlong into 2014 embracing life, love, laughter and the Lord... that you may live joy and contentment and passion... All the best to each of you and yours...

Happy New Year!

I love the porch picture and so glad you were able to have one last porch picture. Our picture was like this too...the behind the scenes is usually more precious than the final picture. I posted mine a couple of posts back.
Blessings to you and yours and all the adventures you will have this new year.
Precious family..God is sooooooooo faithful.

Aw...Happy New Year! What wonderful pictures full of smiles and life. Yes, let's embrace 2014 full force, ready to take on anything. It will be full of laughter and tears even if we don't, so we might as well determine to love it and live it! xo

Love the Porch Pictures and all the action that goes on during the shoot.
This new year will bring us all new adventures. I know we bloggers will lift up each other and encourage us to continue when it's rough. We also will applaud when the excitement is
exciting and happy!

and to you and yours…
that empty part comes tomorrow for us, IF the snow storm holds off and Al can fly home. OTHERWISE the noisy joy continues a bit longer.

Your porch shots are so real and funny

I know exactly what you mean by the empty house. I currently have ONE daughter still home, but we have said good-bye to our DC daughter until one of us makes the trip again. I think it might be me doing the traveling this time.

Time will tell.

Thanks for showing me over and over that it can be done, and the bonds can be as strong from a distance as from across the street if you try.

And how cute is that oven mitted granddaughter? Oh my...!!

Oh the porch pictures...too fun my friend. Loved them. I'm still dealing with my "situation" that I can't talk about...please keep praying. Hoping 2014 will be a blessed year for both of us.

That last picture is a hoot! Goodness, it does take a lot to get a group that size to all be looking at the camera at the same time. Fun! Best wishes and blessings, Tammy
