Boo-tiful Patterns: Boo Knits Sweet Dreams

I recently finished this Sweet Dreams pattern by Boo Knits.

It was my fourth Boo Knit and I have loved them every one.

The patterns are extremely well written and amazingly easy for the result.  If you haven't done a lace pattern and are considering one,  I highly recommend Boo Knits.

This was my first time to do the smallest version listed in the pattern and my first to skip the beads.  I am happy with the outcome in spite of my love of BIG shawls.  Even at the smallest version, it is still a nice sized (though smaller than my usual) shawl.

I loved the Grasshopper colorway of the Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light.  Such a happy and versatile shade of green.

This past weekend, we enjoyed a quick road trip to Austin for a dear friend's daughter's wedding.  The bride and the wedding were beautiful!  Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day.  I pray God will bless and keep their sweet marriage.

I hope each of you are off to a wonderful start of this mid-May week.  Can you believe it is half over already?  Time seems to just fly to me anymore.

As we rush headlong toward June...

"Worry a little bit every day and in a lifetime you will lose a couple of years.  If something is wrong, fix it if you can.  But train yourself not to worry.  Worry never fixes anything." ~ Mary Hemingway

You are encouraging me more and more to try these patterns. This is beautiful. I have not been able to wrap it around me brain as to how to add beads. I'll leave that challenge for another day.

Susan, the easiest method of adding beads that I've tried incorporates using a small crochet hook though the center of the bead to hook the stitch for beading... you slide the stitch through the center of the bead then slip it back on the knitting needle and off you go (or add after knitting according to the pattern). Easy peasy!

btw, may I cut, paste & post your latest water color to my Empty Nest blog? It's beautiful and your colors are some of my favorites.

Hi Tanna..
I know nothing about knitting, but I know enough to know that it takes a lot of talent to do something like this. Love the color and the work is just absolutely gorgeous.

Have a good evening....

What a lovely lacy pattern. Love it...I wore my pretty rose colored one Sunday with my white outfit for Mother's Day. It was a hit. Thanks again...I wear it all the time.

I love it - and I agree with you about the colour. Do you think someone who knits like I do could make this? I'd love to try.

The color is beautiful, but what I absolutely love the most is the size of it. I love it tied around the neck like a scarf, and I love the small shawl. That's exactly what is needed for most of the year around here.

I love green and that shade is so gorgeous. Everything you knit is just beautiful.
I think the Hemingway quote is wonderful. Sounds like she may have read the Bible. :o)

This is gorgeous, Tanna! It also looks so nice wrapped up like a scarf which makes it so versatile, and it is such a lovely color.

Since I am watching my baby granddaughter all day during the week the time flies by and I am not getting online too often. They grow so fast, so I am enjoying every minute.
