Noni's Little Texas Bluebonnet

I had visions of a photo shoot in the bluebonnets... Alas, that, like so many best laid plans, never worked out...

So, here's a solitary Little Texas Bluebonnet.  Noni basked in time with the Little Lady this past weekend!  She is such an angel... Like all of Noni's Littles.

Pattern is Bitty Bump by Gina Bonomo, info here for you knitters.  Yarn is Malabrigo Rasta.  Worked on giant needles this is VERY quick.

While my own dreams of white t-shirt, jeans and vest didn't work out, I was happy with Little Lady's project.

Bluebonnets would only be a distraction from this little "flower". What a perfect combination of pretty baby and pretty sweater.

Best,
Bonnie

Awww such a little sweetie. You can see such joy in her face. Bless her little heart she's adorable.

She is super cute in her little outfit, too. Love the yarn color, it truly does remind me of bluebonnets.

Blessings to you and yours always dear friend. :)

Oh! What a beautiful little baby and great photos! I love her jeans, is that a rosebud on the cuff? And there she is taking part by chewing on your lens cover! She looks like a smiley, happy baby and the little jacket is so sweet. I love the color. :-)

Such a happy little girl! And why not? With a Noni who can knit such fashionable wee sweaters for her. The color is just gorgeous. I have never seen a bluebonnet but they must be beautiful if this is its namesake.

It just doesn't seem fair that you have such beautiful grandSONS, and then you show up with an equally gorgeous grandDAUGHTER. Share the wealth, will ya?

Seriously, she is not just adorable; she is bee-yoo-tee-ful, and her little bluebonnet garment is beautiful too.

How did you get it to fit so exactly? It is perfect on her. I'm sorry the bluebonnets didn't cooperate, but there will be more chances, right? I'm so happy one of your littles is a girl so you can make her sweet things different from the little men....enjoy! Love, d.
ps I finally put up a new post...pretty blossoms....
