We've had the tease of spring lately... And, it has had me craving color... Spring color.
This quick, fun little pattern fit the bill AND gave me an opportunity to practice the German Short Row technique I learned while doing the Dreambird! Love 'em!!
This shawl is a nice small size, though plenty long. Perfect for early spring mornings and at the dimming of the day... when the nip is in the air.
It's made of Noro Silk Garden Lite and Brown Sheep's Nature Spun, that I had in my stash. The pattern is Light Waves by Susan Ashcroft. Details here. She also designed my favorite little owl shawl: Hogwart's Express.
It's good to have my computer back (from the Geek Squad) and a new modem! ;)

I didn't know redbud grew down your way and in my neighborhood...about 6 weeks later! We're getting another 4 - 8 inches by Monday! Of snow...not red bud! :-) Thanks again for Hooty!
