Hogwarts Express: A New Favorite

This shawl is the first thing off my needles in 2013 and I am loving the owls!!

Pattern:   Hogwarts Express by Susan Ashcroft.
Yarn:  Shirakaba by Noro
The Scoop on Ravelry is here.

LOVE.  LOVE.  LOVE the owls!!

I'm hitting the bookkeeping like a madwoman!  Those 1099s are not going to get themselves sent if someone (who may have been a slacker the last month of the preceding year) doesn't get caught up!  LOL!  Wishing you all a wonderful week...

I am in love with the shawl and the bedroom!! I am not doing the KAL for the pi shawl (because of the teaching I'll be doing). Are you doing it???

Wow, another beautiful knitting project! That is gorgeous and the owls are the perfect little quirky element to make it fun and unique.
My 8-year old granddaughter taught herself to knit this Fall, by watching Youtube, and she has me wanting to learn. Her mom is taking her to a knitting club where several older ladies are teaching anyone interested. I need something like that here in my city.
Hugs, Cindy

I am SO impressed that you have gotten something done already in 2013....it's only the 9th day! Wow.
Owls are so popular right now and yours are cuter than most with their beady little eyes and soft cream feathers! I never get tired of seeing what you are making. Ever. :-)

Tanna ~ If I had never seen your picture, I would know you were beautiful, because you have such a sweet and beautiful spirit. It has never shown through so much as this picture of you today.... Pretty Woman walking down the street! The Owl shawl is so darling. I have a blog friend, Laurie who paints owls, beautiful watercolors. I want to share this picture of you and the shawl with her if you don't mind my copying it.

The owls are such a charming detail.

I'm very impressed that you've already finished a new project; you must knit in your sleep :)

Best of luck with the book-work.
At least once it's done, you'll have them caught up for a bit .

DEAR Tanna, You must never sleep. Your work is so gorgeous. Your owl shawl is exquisite. I hope you are teaching your daughter to knit. The lovely sweaters and hats for the boys are so cute and nice. They are great models. I love the pink shawl you are wearing on the beach in the knitting review in the previous post.
