Let The Trails Begin!
I whipped by and shot this from a distance; I was dressed to work! Our Belles are gathered for the Opening Ceremony of the Azalea Trails. They will be waving at visitors throughout the Trails.
There are over eight miles of official Trails; but, all around this area, beauty abounds.
This is one of the most striking yards to be seen.
I will share more later this weekend.
I love the drape and grace... the color... and the architectural interest.
Off the Trail, you can find all kind of lovelies.
... Just waiting for our visual feast.
This is why my Opening Ceremony shots were from a distance. I was on my way to start getting ready for the Candlelight Party tonight! We'll convene again to do the decorating! I can't wait!! It is going to be a perfect evening for touring the Historic Tyler on Tour homes and having a Candlelight Party! Wish you could be here, too!

So far behind in commenting on posts, but I have been enjoying your eye candy from my phone these last couple of days as I dart to and fro. Wish we were there. LM would love to walk the Azalea Trail with us, wouldn't he? Your photos are magnificent and tell a wonderful story about a historic community that really and truly cares about preserving the beauty of the area. I love it!
So, so nice! And I love your passion and involvement in this community! Enjoy your evening!

The last few posts have the cutest houses!! I think I need to visit Tyler, it looks adorable.
wow, wow wow, the belles are beautiful and the rest of the shots are beautiful too!
I have spent a full cup of coffee attending your splendid event. The girls, the homes, the gardens--lovely! Those homes truly are treasures.
We are still rather dull around here. I haven't seen the first touch of color. Of course, I haven't been out of the house since I came home. Tomorrow, for sure!
Have a wonderful weekend basking in the memory of a job well done.
Best,
Bonnie
The houses and landscaping are stunning but the most beautiful of all are the belles. When grouped together they form a bouquet.
