Alex's Announcement and Drawing for a Dress

Little Man announced that he is going to have a baby BROTHER!!  His Noni knows he is going to be the best Big Brother ever.  They just don't come any sweeter.  If Baby Brother is just a smidge as sweet as Little Man, we will be blessed indeed.

I'll be taking names from the comments for a drawing for the Clara Dress.  Maybe it can move to someone else's hope chest, or be a baby gift, or be a dress for your baby girl or granddaughter, or hang on a wall.  I will draw the names on January 31 and announce the winner.  It's time to clean out the hope chest.

On another note, I'm starting a watercolor class today.  I haven't touched a brush since my one long weekend encounter in Granbury at Soon Y Warren's workshop.  I loved my final product, but had close supervision and step by step instruction!  Keep your fingers crossed for me!  LOL.

The only thing sweeter than having LM is having another one to go with him. He will be such a wonderful big brother. I am so happy for you all and cannot wait to see your new Joy!

Throw my name in the hat for that adorable dress!

Good Luck with your class, you'll be teaching it before long.

How sweet is Little Man announcing the big news!! And how perfect is another little boy to pass on those wonderful knitted treasures to--heirlooms to be enjoyed into future generations as well!!

You bet I have a "hope chest"!! I'd love to tuck that little dress away in tissue paper and ribbons -- not for too long, I hope!

Best,
Bonnie

I am so thrilled for you guys with the addition of a precious little brother for Alex! How cute will they be together?? I'm already dying to meet him!

PS - Jeff and I were married in Granbury at a B&B near the town square. Such a fun and quaint little area!

Wow! What wonderful news. I won't ask to be entered in the drawing. I'd hate to see that precious dress lying around unused. I don't know when I'll ever need it! It is very pretty though.

AHHHH!!! I love the sign and his little face but I am a teeny bit sad for the thought of a girl. I remember when my sister and I were expecting the first grandchildren. I was due in April and she was due in July. My mom had bought the most adorable pink baby blanket from the Amish and said the first granddaughter would get the blanket!

Well I was a wreck because I wanted that blanket so much!!! I took it home but as you know the rest of the story I had to fork it over when my son arrived and my sister had a girl. She not only had a sweet snugly girl but I had a wild screamy boy.

But I adore him and wouldn't trade for the world. In fact she had a son next and the two boys got up to more trouble than you could shake a stick at. My son is Bob and hers is Mack and her husband calls them Bomack. They can out hunt and fish anyone and are quite a pair. I love to see them together and mostly love to hear them laugh. I don't know what life would be without the BOYS!!!! My gosh they have been a gift from the Lord! So enjoy your boys, you are going to have fun, fun, fun,fun and maybe that sweet girl will be in your future.

I have always coveted the dress, what can I say. It is a work of art. I can't believe you are giving it away! It is so special. Just like you!

I will have to tell you about when we took the boys to England. I am not sure the Brits have recovered yet! It was pretty funny.

Congrats Tanna on another healthy baby boy! Alex is going to LOVE having a brother close in age to him. It's going to be such fun watching them grow up together.

As far as the adorable dress, I would love to enter Sarah's name, assuming it would fit her. I can't tell from the pictures what size it would be but if you think it would fit her (she's wearing 6-9 months now, then please enter her name! It's absolutely beautiful!

Another sweet baby boy. I think that's wonderful. It is going to be so much fun to see Little Man with him.
Adorable baby dress. I am going to follow the tracks to the post so I can enter.

Oh my goodness, your painting is incredible.

I guess this is the spot to enter the giveaway. No, I don't have a grand daughter now, but hopefully one of my daughters will have one someday. If not that's okay too. Mason has been a joy! Little boys are precious.
Plus, I would just love to have some of your pretty work. It would be lovely hanging on a little girly baby hanger I have in the guest room.
Thanks much
Rhonda
