Smooth Operator...

Can your hear the smooth rhythm of Sade playing softly in the background....

Yes, this is my dearly beloved husband.  He and his friends were at "camp" last week training away in the Oklahoma heat for six to eight hours a day... maintaining and honing their skills.

I love that he is passionate about his interests... and, that he works hard to be very good at them.
Of course, since he loves to play outside in the heat all day with his friends, it makes it harder for him to say no when I want to play golf in 102 degrees.  LOL.

You would have loved my father. He golfed in the heat of summer and the chill of winter--at the Roanoke Country Club. Hmmm, I didn't find an old postcard with RCC on it. I need to go back and look some more.

Best,
Bonnie

It's great for men to have hobbies that they love. It keeps them out of trouble! :-)

I'm about 180 pages into the book...something major is brewing...still trying to figure out the connection each of the story lines have to the other. It's getting good!

I love to listen to Sade sing . So smooth...... I had to find my cd and play it. I am going to listen to it all evening and not think about the heat !

I agree with Dana - so good for our boys to have their playtime! But wow, in that kind of heat, he must definitely LOVE it!

I use to play golf and we played in the desert in Phoenix twice. We kind of both quit playing. What is your husband practicing for?

I can't believe you Texans had temps over 100. Now that is HOT!
And you still go outside, which is more amazing!

Where do I begin? Let's start with the music choice. Sade? Really? I'm thinking more like "Highway to the Danger Zone" from Top Gun. Or maybe "Bad to the Bone." Something a little more manly for this sport. I'm just sayin'.

And Pop Pop - you make this look good. Seriously. You're a bad mamba jamba.

I can't wait to hear about how many perps you shot. And if you rescued any kids from heavy gunfire hostage situations.

BTW, you'd be so proud of me - I took my tazer to dinner tonight!

Too hot outside for me! Whew...

Is this just a sport or protection for these perilious days?

I work in the heat (just blogged about it!)! And hobbies do keep us out of trouble! Of course mine involves a pencil, a drawing pad, and my headphones or fishing with Ginger's Dad. Heat doesn't bother me when I'm fishing...

LOL!
