Nearing the end...

I so believe this statement.  Life is thrown at us sometimes... and is rough in spots... but, in the end, you make of it what you will.  Faith and attitude... make all the difference.

This Griswold Vacation is closing down... we've had reading and knitting and solitaire lessons... we've enjoyed excellent home cooking, as everyone has taken their turn.

We've seen vistas so beautiful, they take your breath away.

We've enjoyed FAMILY...

And FUN...

We've learned things...

And, enjoyed corny dinner cruises up the Tennessee River and back...  Part of our crew was here for only a short while, Zack wasn't able to make it and we missed him terribly.  But, the rest of the Griswolds, we are still enjoying every last moment of our time together...

Hi Tanna: I went to the previous post to see if you answered my question and you did. Now I know where Rock City is. Does it rock? bwahahahahha! Your photos look like you really had a great time. I've always wanted to cruise a river. Were you on a large boat or what? My only concept is the Delta Queen on the Mississippi. My aunt took that cruise years ago and said it was unbelievably wonderful. I used to see it docked in Louisville (or Cincy--now I'm not sure too many yrs ago) when we lived in KY. It's a large paddle wheel boat as you probably know.

Time spent with family is to be cherished. Looks like a great time. Did anyone have to be strapped to the top of the station wagon?

Best,
Bonnie

I do feel very blessed... and Bonnie, we just discussed the matter of strapping Pop Pop on a back board to the top of the Escalade... seems all this vacationing has his back flaring up! LOL! He said he was NOT ready for that yet! LOL!

Glad you had a nice vacation too.
