Knitting Olympics 2010

I'm celebrating my first participation in the Knitting Olympics headed up by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee at Yarn Harlot, her blog. She is a Canadian, so obviously very excited about the outcome of Sunday's hockey game, not to mention the other 13 gold medals Canada garnered!! Congratulations to all!

Stephanie's writing amuses me; her knitting amazes me. While I started and finished this little bunny during the course of the Olympics, she started and finished an incredible sweater! I was also amazed by the projects started and finished by the over 4000 knitters who participated! That's a lot of knitting!

This was Bunny right after his head was sewn onto his little bunny belly.

Here he is all finished.

Ready and waiting for Easter...

Noni, what a cute bunny. You did an excellent job. Be afraid of what it would look like if I attempted that.

Ah..what an adorable bunny! I love it! Thanks so much for your sweet comment this morning about the birds. I'm developing such an affinity for these lovely little creatures of late! Now I'll be adding bunnies to my list.

Blessings, joy and sunshine, Terri

YOU did THAT??? How cute it is, and how smart you are! The things one can accomplish while sitting in front of the tube! I'm sitting here watching White Collar and looking at you, babe.

That bunny is PRECIOUS!! Let's keep it away from Kaitlynn or she'll be super jealous that her buddy Alex gets such a sweet treat from his Noni! :-)

Hi Noni, I just popped over from the TX Gals blogs, wanted to say hello. I knit too (have a knitting blog and a daily blog) and I've knit little rabbits similar to yours, aren't they so cute :)
It's nice to meet you.

Your bunny is darling. It makes me feel so worthless that I just sat and watched event after event of the Olympics and didn't complete ONE worthwhile project. (Unless, of course, you would count MANY completed Sudoku's!) :)
