Beware The Ides of March

Isn't it interesting how a date will stick in your mind.  Every March 15th, I remember Caesar being forwarned to beware the ides of March...

and the subsequent, " et tu Brute..."  I probably needed to beware the Too Much Chocolate Cake this weekend!  LOL!

I'm still working along on the Bungalow makeover... a preview of things to come... Have a good ides!  =)

Tanna: do you have bouquets of flowers like that in your home often? They are so lovely. I can almost smell them. mmmmm. Looking forward to more home decor from you. xo

Ides of March, I am still dealing with daylight savings.

Noni, you can afford to eat cake with all the running you do, girl. I can't wait to see your home. That picture there is wonderful.

Okay question - Can you ever eat too much chocolate cake? Really?

Your home looks lovely and the flowers are just beautiful.

I have to go get some today for teacher's appreciation.

Do Ides look like chocolate bundt cake with pecans?!? Wow! I want some. I just looked up "ides:" the 15th day of March, May, July, or October or the 13th day of any other month in the ancient Roman calendar. Interesting. Thanks for encouraging some dictionary work this afternoon.

I want to be there. Curling up on that linen sofa, admiring that beautiful flower arrangement, and eating a piece of that chocolate cake while visiting with you and Pop Pop. Soon...

Oh MY GOODNESS! Tanna, that cake looks absolutely luscious! Okay, so now I have to keep it short so I can make it to the local bakery before closing. Ha ha

Sure enjoyed your sweet comment over at my place regarding my previous interest in Tarkay. I'm into "cake," I mean "flowers," at the moment. Ha ha See what that wonderful photo has done.

So much fun coming over here to your place!

P.S. I just watched your friend Kathy's video "Stand By Me." Thank you so much for sharing this. I know it's an older post, but it caught my attention and I'm so glad I didn't miss seeing it. It was from Oct 22, 09, but worth watching again and again!

Oh my goodness, a girl loves her chocolate!
Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog. Fritz and I are both doing much better! Thanks for your prayers. I believe Fritz must of gotten into a neighbor's poison when he went out for his morning stroll. He is much better.
I am lovin the new look. I told Debbie from Attracted to Shiny Things that we were going to have to come visit you sometime. We both live just a couple hours away from ya!
Hugs,
Tara

I had lunch with Debbie today. She is such a neat lady. You will love her. We talked about trying to come visit you soon. That would be so fun! Hope we can get it arranged soon.

That cake looks yummy! I sat here thinking of the Ides of March on the 15th, too. Who'd have thought something I learned in school so long ago would stay with me? Especially something so trivial!

Hey Tanna - can I come over when Debbie and Tara come to see you? I would love to meet you all AND see your beautiful little bungalow! Nothing quite inviting yourself over, is there???
