The Emergence of a Bunny Belly

Who in the world ever imagined that from sticks like enlarged toothpicks, spun cotton blended with merino wool and a recipe (pattern) a bunny's belly would indeed begin to emerge? Don't you just wonder why anyone ever thought this would work in the first place? Who did think of how to knit?

Several friends I know have recently begun to knit. I am so impressed with all of you. I don't know if I have the patience to do it. I hear it can be relaxing. I just wonder how relaxing having to tear apart all my knots would be.

Looks like you are off to a great start for your knitting Olympics!

Who ever did figure that stuff out? I bet you could have been one of those people. =)

Go glad to see these almost lost arts being revived. I knitted when I was in my late teens, and now my daughter knits beautifully, much better than I ever knitted. It amazes me, too, how these things are figured out. Can't wait to see your finished bunny.

Knitting is way out of my league or even imagination.
Two sticks and yarn put together = bunny? Unreal!

I love that pink and brown yarn.

In Germany in the 1950's all 4th graders were taught how to knit a sock using 4 knitting needles! True story.

This is going to be cute!
You do keep several projects going at once. I am a do it and knit like mad until I'm done... I need to learn to pace myself like the distance olympians.
