Almost Finished...

Noni has been hard at work on a prize for Little Man.

This tiny little sweater has taught some new lessons... not only with a new pattern of stitches, new way of binding off and seaming together... but, of how to start over... how to take out and repair... how to keep going... Same ole lessons of life... just in a microcosm of knitting.

The main lesson is to not give up. That is always the main lesson.

Do the best you can... and keep moving. All I lack in finishing this is getting a zipper today and sewing that in... If that part takes as long as constructing the little garment, it may be Christmas before I am through. LOL. Just kidding... I'm planning on getting a picture of it on my Little Man this very weekend! =)
PS I left a mistake... on purpose. That was a new lesson for me, too. It wasn't easy. Imagine that.

Wow, it's just precious!! It's amazing to me that you knitted that, from scratch! Alex is super lucky to have such a devoted Noni to make him such sweet prizes.

And I can guarantee that you are the ONLY person that will see a mistake in that beautiful sweater!

I can't believe you are giving Little Man his Christmas present one month early! You never gave us Christmas presents early!!

Thank you, dear ladies. Lauri, I think it will be like a "find Waldo" interest built into the sweater. LOL. And, I'm betting money my eagle-eyed-editor-like a daughter can spot Waldo quickly. LOL. I can see it in the picture... Can you?

AC: You aren't Little Man. LOL!!! I just can't wait to see what it will look like on him. =)

Thank you for being my newest follower. Always happy to have someone sign up to follow my site.
I bet it is a little colder in your part of Texas than mine. I have spent a lot of holidays in that area. This year it will be in Austin.
Take care and come see me often

What a beautiful little sweater! I found your blog through Julie R. I know this is an older post, but I just had to compliment your work. So sorry about your little dog. It is so hard to loose them.

Have a Merry Christmas!
