I want to wish a very happy birthday to California Girl of Empty Nest Evolution and Women of a Certain Age! It has been my pleasure to cross paths with her through blogging. She is passionate and witty. Her comments to others are always thoughtful and engaging. Her boys are adorable and well loved! Her husband is a wonderful photographer. Together they make a fine family. And, while I do not share her political view, I applaud her for having a point of view. More of us should be so interested in what is going on in our country (apathy is the rot that will destroy us). Keep it up, California Girl.
Happy, Happy Birthday, Deborah!

Tanna: I just woke up and saw this and I want to thank you. It surprised the heck out of me! You are too kind. I do want to apologize if I inadvertently insult Southerners. "Opinionated" is my middle name and I may say things in the wrong way and I'll have to watch that. I honestly don't mean to insult the South as a region. I loved living in Virginia. Anyway, you are sweet to think of me. I posted an acknowledgement of my birthday today, not because I need kudos but because I need to deal with having one. Isn't that silly? Everything goes by so quickly, especially our lives, and I'm having a hard time keeping up.
Love to you dear lady
I will definitely check out these two ladies....I love finding a new friend!!!!
Ooops guess that is just one lady/ha
CG: So glad it was a little surprise for you this morning. I do so know how time flies past... and, at this point birthdays mean "dealing with having one"! I have so enjoyed your blog and appreciate folks HAVING an opinion. LOL! Don't worry about the Southern thing! LOL. We give ourselves ample reason to catch some scorn... those reasons just don't apply to everyone of us. LOL.
Nanny: You are such a wonderful friend-maker! Is that a word? You know what I mean! So glad to have met you through blogging, too! It is nice to have these connections.
