Fall Fun...

Thursday and Friday of this week were jam-packed with fall fun.  Friday, I met my good friend, Barbara, in Canton for the First Monday Trades Days.  This cute little tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl are among my favorite ever Canton finds!!

I also had the great fortune of being able to meet one of my blogging friends... also a fellow knitter/yarn addict, old bungalow lover...  Canton shopper...

Steph from Woolythyme.  She is even more wonderful in person!!

And, on Thursday... Got an excellent hair cut by my long, long time friend Kathy... then, she and I had lunch with Zachary AND on to...

See this Little Lady... Sooooo enjoyed the treat of feeding, burping and changing her!!  Two months old this week!  Time flies!!

And, I whipped through a wonderful fall patternThe Lonely Tree by Silvia Bo Bilvia at Soft Sweater Knits & Fibres.  Simply LOVED it!!  The yarn is Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage 100% superwash merino wool:  colorway - Golden Hickory.  More to come... it is staked out on the bed blocking.  ;)

Wishing you all some Fall Fun in your day... blessings ~ tanna

What a lovely fall week you had! I have such admiration for your knitting. I have yet to master more than the easiest baby dress. I think one has to have a tiny bit of a 'math' brain to really knit, and I have none at all!

It is wonderful to meet blog-friend in person! And every time you see this tea ensemble, you will get some nice feelings about lovely shopping day. The things are able to keep for us so much. Piccola principessa is simple cute . And what about fall knitting, this yarn is just perfect for this lace-leafs-pattern. One color goes in another color without strips - my dream, my favorite!

Tanna,
I too have been on a bit of a self imposed exile from blogging--reading and writing. I've just felt a bit uninspired. Today I "caught" up with your last three posts and remembered why I enjoy blogs! I expecially enjoyed your "Old Girls" post. How lucky your town is to have you there restoring these wonderful homes. I could move right into the duplex you wrote about! Lots of love,
Susan

Hi Tanna,
Your baby grand-daughter is adorable! Congratulations on a precious new one in the family.
Your knitting is beautiful. Speaking of knitting, I just learned this week that my eight year old grand-daughter has taught herself to knit by watching you-tube tutorials. Her mother showed a photo on FB of her with her needles just going to town on it! I have tried many times to learn and have finally given up, I have trouble with the tension, particularly, the same with crocheting.
I love to see what you make, yours are always so beautiful.
Hugs, Cindy

I had so much to say about your adventure. Then, I saw the granddaughter and it all flew out the window.

How precious is she???

And I love that yarn. It looks like you dyed it yourself. Gorgeous.

Just read your last three posts and have to say how glad I am to see you BACK. All the PULLS of life dome flying at us don't they? I am on a "break" from blogging as I have absolutely NOTHING worthwhile to SAY Tanna! I think about it and then the days many tasks present themselves and the to do lists NEVER get completed!!!
Love the old girls and all that you have been up to lately! SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!

So glad you're back in the blog world - especially given your limited time to blog these days. =) I sure wish we could have joined in the fall fun with you. Would have loved a trip to Canton (sans the boys - ha!) and to see baby Blayklee. Soon, soon.

Your ol' girls still amaze me. Every one is gorgeous. And I still love the Jacobean stain on those floors in the duplex. Mm, mm, mm. I'd love that color upstairs in Mirabelle.
