Enough...
It's been so long since I've made a post, I feel like I've forgotten how. It started with a self-imposed "break" from my computer. I allowed myself only 30 minutes early in the morning to check e-mails and whatever other quick peeks I could squeeze in to that half-hour.
I also took a four week break from knitting in my effort to get things done that I do NOT enjoy doing.
There has been closet cleaning, laundry room organizing, pantry cleaning, three Old Girls getting face lifts (exterior paint and repairs), tax filing, golf tournament playing, visits to the Little Men, their visits here, visits to the Little Lady, celebrations of SIL finishing his chemo, celebrating birthdays and I CONSTANTLY feel like there isn't enough time... enough energy... enough focus... but, there is. God always gives me enough... sometimes I think there isn't, but there is... enough.
Anyway, I stayed gone so long it feels a little awkward to try to get started back. I have loved your e-mails, your messages, your kindness. I have missed you. I'm going to try to breathe-in and know that there is enough... and I that can do this, too.
Thank you, again. blessings ~ tanna

I'm so glad to see this! When somone is gone over a month without saying they're taking a break, I always think something dreadful has happened! I'm glad you're ok and wow, it sounds like you've gotten a lot of great things acccomplished!
I know that feeling...I feel like I'm running behind in everything!
Tanna I'm so happy to see you are well and have been taking time for yourself...it's so important to do that. I've wanted to email you to make sure that all was well but in my heart I knew that it was and that you didn't need any additional pressure in your life. Take whatever time you need and let your heart lead you. Blessings.
So good to see your post come up, Tanna. I've missed you. Blogging can be just one more thing that might make us too busy, so you were probably smart to take a break and my you were able to get so much done. I am trying to figure out ways to spend less time reading others' blogs, but still reading them! Yes, one month of retirement as of tomorrow, and I haven't stopped going yet. It has been very busy, but have gotten a few projects done too. Will never forget that email I got from you that day while I was at work. How is the Little Lady? :-) Welcome back!
OH< YES!!!! so glad you are back!!! but no wonder you've been gone-----what a hectic schedule you have had! time for a little break!!! when I know a bit more about Canton, I'll let you know; I leave for TX on Tuesday, so I'm guessing our tentative Friday at Grandma's kitchen---might be the best bet!!! If something happens and you don't make it....my goodness that schedule of yours is CRAZY!!!!---there is always next year!!! hugs!
I'm on the same page as Bets but I must admit I was concerned by your absence & thought to send an email. Funny thing stopping me, the Kindle Fire does not facilitate writing easily.
I'm sorry to hear your son is undergoing chemo. I hope he's all right.
Oh, Tanna! My heart did a little happy dance when I saw your new post. I have been missing you and your wisdom and your eye for beauty. I have missed your encouragement....but, mostly, I am just THRILLED that you are good and well and finding your way to the balance that is enough.
Is there a way you can send me your snail mail address?
yay...just still smiling.
So glad your back!! I missed your blog!
I have missed you so much,my friend,Smiles,Dottie
Tanna, so glad you are back and all is well. I need to do all the things you did. I have so much stuff and so much mess. Have a great week.
Tanna, glad to see you are back and you accomplished the things you do not enjoy doing. So now you may have time for blogging again.
Just this morning I looked for you again and thought 'She's still doing whatever she has to do'....and here you are this evening! Lovely to see you. Just take it easy - no need to comment back or any of that business. Just enjoy because there really is.....enough.
I too have been stepping away... just far enough to breathe.
I think we all need to exhale, and breathe again.
Welcome back :-)
I was so glad to see your new post! Glad you're okay. We all missed you.
It is hard to do everything and my computer most certainly takes a lot of my time. Somehow, though, I NEED to write. Do you feel that way?
Tanna - good to hear from you - we all need a break now and then. I've been breaking off and on, too. Family always comes first, and we've always got other things that have to be done, too. Just blog when you can - no guilt. We'll all still be here!
Enough is right. God is enough. And He'll always provide enough.
I've been thinking about you and wondering what you are up to. I just figured with everything going on, you were taking some much needed time away. Sometimes it helps to try and recharge a bit. Of course, it sounds like you've been keeping pretty darn busy. I hope everyone is well. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy
Welcome back. You've been missed but it sounds like you've had quite the productive past few weeks. And that's always a good feeling!!
Lovely to see you back! And I see that you have already begun the knitting again :)
my blog break slipped into months. trying to get back into the swing of blogging again myself. but like you my house is cleaned!
my daughter asked if i was still knitting and i thought of you... i have been on knit break also. i just haven't had much down time to be one with my needles :) but looking forward to starting a new project.
glad to see your post! glad you are doing well :)
xo
I'm so happy to see this post!! I can relate to every word you wrote. My long break wasn't self imposed so I consider it to be God imposed instead. I even did the same kinds of things you did. And yes, it is very hard for me still to get myself able to blog.
I am still limiting time because I think it is a good thing to do.
SO GLAD I had the "time" to see this.
And that table is just lovely!
I was just thinking of you!! Glad to know that your life is just rolling along and there's nothing wrong with a self imposed break from media. I like my mini breaks from instagram, twitter and yes even reading blogs. Take care hope your SIL does well!
Even in the middle of a storm, there was a wonderful surprise when I checked your blog and there you are! I missed you! Looking forward to seeing what you will have on your needles. We got to enjoy our "little man". Our son flew in from SF to be in his friend's wedding. We had not seen them since Christmas and Noah was six months old. This visit he was almost 16 months and what a joy. Oh, how we miss him. Thank goodness for I-Pad.
Love ya! Marie
I am glad you are back home - I thought you stopped blogging. I missed you! sandie
So happy to see you back, Tanna! Sounds like you accomplished so much during your break. That is wonderful! He is enough. ♥
You're back! Hurrah!
like all before me i am also very glad "to hear" you here. during waiting for the new post here i went to Blog Archive. To know You are ok' is very important for me.
And, Tanna, how can you keep yourself on your time-management? I need your recipe for this!
Tanna, Tanna, Tanna. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am you're back! I can't believe how much I missed you :) I am also very happy you've been busy doing productive fun things and that all's well.
It's so good to hear from you again! Glad that you're doing well and that you've been able to get so much accomplished during your "time-off".
Tanna,it's good to hear from you! I'm glad your time away has been filled with mostly happy occasions and accomplishments! Don't let blogging add stress to your day --just do it when you feel like it and can enjoy it.
It is so wonderful to hear from you!!!Beautiful pictures and great words, I share your sentiment......
I blame it on the slowness of my computer....... I just have so much to do besides sit and wait on this dog to process.....
I'm contemplating a new updated model/ha.
Til then I'll drop in when I can!
Boy the love is flowing.... I love all the sweet comments. You are a special lady...I am up to my eyeballs right now planning a 75th Birthday Party for my dearest.
So good to see you back, and my goodness you have really been busy...I need to do those very things myself. After the party....
Thank you for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. I've done the same here at your blog and I look forward to getting to know you more.
I have thought of you and just knew you needed the time off...so glad you have come back...missed seeing you.
I hope you are breathing easy as you get back into the swing of blogging...and that table looks great.
I'm glad you're still blogging...you've been missed! But, I totally understand taking a break, I'm on one myself right now. Just have to pop in once in a while, tho, and catch up! Have a great week, Tanna!
So good to see you back! Breaks are always nice and needed, though. Sounds like you've been busy but I pray it has been a refreshing busy.
Hey Gurl...you have been missed!! I've thought of you often....I know all too well, exactly what you are talking about. Sometimes...we just have to put it aside in order to get our LIFE things done. There are times when I get so involved, that I end up neglecting my own responsibilities...
Have a great day.

So glad to 'hear' from you. You've been missed. Big hugs to you!
Welcome back! I missed you, too. I try to prioritize and have some balance in my activities, but it seems that I still spend too much time on knitting. It all works out in the end.
Tanna, you are wise to take a break with all the things going on in your life. We're here when you come back. I've been very busy with school and stuff and haven't kept up with my blog friends very well lately. Too much to do. I have heard many our age say they are busier now than any other time in their lives. I believe it. Take care of yourself.
