A Dose of Joy...

Trying to catch up around here after being gone for a week is crazy; and, I had to have a quick reminder of the dose of JOY that week allowed.

These two Little Men have so much fun with their water table.

Reminds me that one year ago, the Little Man and I played for hours in the water waiting on his baby brother to arrive and get home.

Sweet, sweet joy...

I will be looking for something in my day to give me a joyful attitude like they have here...

Driving Jubilee to tend some of my chores, while listening to Adele might do the trick!!  ;)

I am wishing a joyful moment for each of you today...

Just what the doctor ordered--"take two of those sweet boys"!! I think I'd have fun with that water table!! I'll be thinking of you running around in Jubilee while I'm out in Ruby to pick up my friend who'll be visiting for a few days. I just might treat us to Adele. Her cd was a gift for Mother's Day.

Best,
Bonnie

Glad that you got your dose of happiness this morning....Have a super great day.

Just what I needed, Tanna. I'm going out to find my joy now...and perhaps spread a little around for others, too.
Littlest man is getting so big you might need to think of a new 'name' for him soon.
Have fun in Jubilee!

Thank you, thank you, Tanna, for such moments of joy. I needed that to strat this day. I always love seeing your Little Men. It would be nice to be able to just go back to that simple time, wouldn't it? But then, we wouldn't have these new kinds of joy.

Tanna ~ Isn't WATER just the most delightful "TOY" for kids of all ages. These pictures just make me smile from ear to ear.

Our grandsons 11 and 13 can spend hours in our back yard with those big water guns.... Yeah for Water.

One thing that I've found about being around small children is how they really live in the present. It's a good reminder to us adults who are always thinking about our "to do lists" etc. Your grandkids are so adorable playing together like that. That's the nice thing about having them close in age. They have each other for companionship. I can see why you love being with them!

Are they just the cutest, sweetest little guys? Love the water table, that will keep them entertained for a while, I'm sure!
Have a great day!

Our problems, obstacles in life are nothing when we look into the face of a child who doesn't know worry or strife. They are carefree, and smiling to living in the moment. We can all learn alot by looking into the eyes of a child.

God bless the rest of your week.

This blog is, indeed, full of joy! And cuteness, and innocence, and hot summer days! Those water tables are so cool, the kids just love it! I have seen combination water and sand tables, but I would think that would soon turn into mud. Hey, he is actually drinking some of the water! We LOVE Adele, and just watched her London convert on T.V. the other day.

I love this! Those boys are the face of what God intends for us to be. They take pure delight in the common place. THAT's what I pray daily to be.

I'll be out looking for joy in my Ebenezer. I'll give a toot toot to Jubliee as I pass you on the Joy Road.

Let's face it. People who name their cars are just destined to be happy people. We're destined to have blonde hightlights too, but that's a whole different story.

Thanks for the reminder to find joy in my day, Tanna, I am missing my little ones so badly that it's hard to be joyful sometimes.

Have a joyful weekend.

Entertaining boys at that age is so very easy -- anything to do with water, or sand, a pail and a little shovel and they are good to go. When my boys were little, we had a blow up pool at one end of our balcony, and a popup tent on the other end -- they had so much fun out there. Wishing you a joy-filled weekend. Tammy

Tanna, it just doesn't get any better than that!
We had our dear little 3 and 4 year old grandsons for two weeks over the wedding, and I can't bear to change their bed linen from the guest room now that they've gone back east. I love to go up and see the fire engine and trains bed lined and the teddies on the pillows. I'm going to have to get tough with myself!
