Color Affection
This shawl pattern, Color Affection by Veera Valimaki is taking Ravelry (a knitting and crochet online community) by storm. I tried to resist it...
But as you can clearly see, I utterly failed to resist. There are so many possible color combinations and it is such an easy knit! Just couldn't say no. Caved in... to the thrill of seeing the colors mingle ... and the pattern emerge.
The yarn is Madelinetosh Tosh Light, which is w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l!! Colors: celedon, burnished and cedar. All the Madelinetosh yarns are hand-dyed, so they have a wonderful depth of color that enchants and delights!
Now, I really must get busy on something besides my knitting!! ;)
Hope you are all having a wonderful week! blessings ~ tanna

BINGO!!! You have done it again. My knitting will take place this summer in Montana. Sending you positive thoughts. Susan
That's a beautiful pattern and you picked the best colors. They flow wonderfully into each other.
Oh, I just have to get some of that Madelinetosh yarn. The shawl is wonderful. I'm so glad you didn't resist...one more beautiful item in the world!
Very pretty. Looks lovely with such great color combinations. Wish I could do that!
that is just beautiful Tanna...
This is absolutely stunning. At first glance, it looks like it is folded, a trick of the eye print.
It is amazing. Now, I too, am going to have to go and check it out....really easy?
Praying for your SIL....
Love, d.
It is so RICH and LUXURIOUS! Beautiful Tanna!
Tanna, pretty as this one is, it can't compare to the green leaves, in my estimation. That green leaf shawl is sooooo beautiful and you look so beautiful in it, I'd wear it every day if I were you!
Awesome! Love the pattern it makes!
Hey girl....hope all is well...I have been so busy, and I haven't had time to read (any) post in days...trying to catch up tonight..
This shawl is beautiful and your work is absolutely perfect...so neat!
I really do like all the colors as they blend so well...
Hope you have a great evening...it's raining here!
Oh my! I have resisted, too. Now, having seen yours, I must do one! I am struggling with a baby blanket pattern. This looks like just the thing to rest my brain with. :). Absolutely beautiful.
I like how you use items to "block" your shawls.
(I think block is the correct term)
This is a beauty!
Ohh... this is so pretty!! The colors are gorgeous. The pattern is beautiful. Great job Tanna!
Oooo! Looks even better than in the iPhone pics! LOVE the colors on this one. Where's the pic of you modeling? I like those the best! ;-)
Lucious colors and they would look good on you, but that might be why you chose them! I wonder how long it took you to knit that! Always a p l e a s u r e to see your projects!
How beautiful! It is a perfect Seaside shawl - the colours of sea, sand and forest.
Each one of your creations is a little bit better then the one before. YOU ARE SO TALENTED.

Lovely! Who could resist this beautiful yarn. You're in my prayers.
Love your color choices. And what a delightful garden area you have!
I don't blame you for caving in! It turned out very pretty. Love that little courtyard area too!
Wonderful shawl, Tanna. Gosh, you've finished 2 shawls since I started Sothia; what a speedy knitter you are! Now I have to got check out that pattern..... Have a great day.
My goodness, Tanna! That shawl is gorgeous! And does not look like it was easy at all. Your knitting projects are always so beautiful. Wishing you all the best, Tammy

Those colors are just perfect together!!! Just love everything about this shawl!
Beautiful!!!
The more I see this design on Ravelry, the more tempted I get to try one for myself. You've done a wonderful job.
Don't you just love Tosh yarns....They are so yummy...Definitely my newest addiction.
Ok Tanna...I am truly in awe of how quickly you knit and how beautifully it turns out! I really think you should do a YouTube video of yourself while you're knitting so I can actually see the speed at which you go. (You could just knit and chat a bit! lol)
Your "hugs" are so precious...what a lovely idea, and the spoons, well, I just plain want them. I love anything with a text or words...what a great idea for a gift.
Absolutely beautiful.
♥Ana
